Dr Reed’s tweet count suggests he’s single-handedly trying to replace Google as the world's crypto encyclopedia—smooth talker by day, relentless crypto lecture machine by night. If only he analyzed his own sleep schedule as rigorously as those subnets, he might finally rest instead of retweeting at 3 AM.

Dr Reed’s standout achievement is his influential role in spotlighting the Bittensor $TAO network early, educating thousands on its unique subnet economy and attracting serious attention from major investment funds like Grayscale and Safello, positioning himself as a trusted strategic advisor and thought leader in the crypto investment space.

To illuminate the often opaque world of crypto investing with clear, precise analysis that empowers investors to make smarter, more confident decisions while fostering innovation within blockchain communities.

Dr Reed believes in transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity within the crypto space — valuing fair launches, robust economic designs, and sustainable revenue models. He champions projects that generate real-world utility and revenue, standing firmly against scams and mismanagement while promoting accountability and continuous learning.

His biggest strength lies in his thorough, strategic analysis combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, giving him credibility and foresight to spot market inefficiencies and avoid common pitfalls. He communicates complex ideas clearly and backs opinions with real data and lived experience.

His highly analytical style can sometimes come off as overly critical or blunt, which may alienate more casual or emotionally-driven followers. Additionally, the sheer volume of detailed content can overwhelm newcomers who aren’t yet well-versed in crypto jargon or niche projects.

To grow his audience on X, Dr Reed should blend his deep-dive technical content with more approachable, bite-sized educational threads and interactive Q&A sessions to engage less-expert users. Leveraging hashtags, tagging key projects and influencers strategically, and balancing critique with actionable tips could broaden his reach and foster a community of both beginners and pros.

Fun fact: Despite being a prolific tweeter with over 19,000 posts, Dr Reed isn't just about volume—he breaks down crypto projects with surgical precision, highlighting overlooked nuances like APYs, tokenomics, and emission flows, especially around the Bittensor $TAO ecosystem.

Yo @notthreadguy , you asked for a more r3tarded insight to Bittensor $TAO. So here it is: ✅Imagine pumpfun, but instead of 100000 💩 coins a day, there's currently only 128 to choose from. ✅All of them are fair launched: No scammy team supply, no scammy sniping - Anyone can buy the launch of a subnet with equal chance. In fact lower wallet sizes have it better as the lower liquidity at the start means large wallets don't bother until later. The small guys get the lowest prices! ✅You can't get rugged to zero!: -Yep that's right. Worst case scenario is that you bleed out on a badly performing subnet. If the subnet fails then it's repurposed into a new one. If that happens the TAO in the pool that's left is equally distributed to holders based on your % holding of the subnet token. In some cases if you buy at the tight time, you could actually make more TAO on a failed subnet. -Subnets are also sold a lot of the time if they're failing, so if you're holding a dud, and new team comes in if the slot is sold, you get another shot, at no extra risk. In fact these often pump on speculation that it's going to be a way better project. ✅The APYs are incredible. New subnets yield near 400% APY, and as they age and gain more holders that number slides down, currently to around 40% APY on the largest subnets. ✅Subnets are cool AF: There's sports prediction like @sportstensor There's BTC market prediction like @SynthdataCo There's software coding agents like what Cursor is - see @ridges_ai There's weather prediction - see @zeussubnet There's data scraping of EVERYTHING - see @Data_SN13 There's prop trading operations - see @ptn There's original AF concepts like @webuildscore that use camera data to provide insights to sports and any other industry that uses cameras There's Bitcoin mining - see @taohash There's perp DEX operations - see @0x_Markets There's real estate - see @resilabsai There's compute - see @chutes_ai There's agent market places - see @sundaebar_ai There's storage - see @hippius_subnet There's code auditing agents - see @bitsecai There's liquidity and bridging - see @v0idai There's internal leverage exchanges - see @Tenex_SN67 ✅What do they all have in common? They're all fighting to generate real world revenue, and where does it go? All back into the value of $TAO ✅Buying subnets now is like buying in the first stages of the ICO craze on ETH. There's also a metric tonne of outside big money investing in this eco: @BarrySilbert with @Grayscale and @YumaGroup @jaltucher with @xtaohq @markjeffrey with @stillcorecap @SiamKidd @MarkCreaser with @dsvfund @FrankSchuil with @SafelloAB @Old_Samster with @UnsupervisedCap You're welcome. My worst ever decision making process and investment ever has been #kadena $KDA I've made some mistakes in this space as have most people, but Kadena takes the biscuit. I don't think I'll make the same learning errors again. For clarity I sold it all off quite some time ago now so I'm not bag holding. But... there's no redeeming quality to the chain right now. The team are clueless and it will die. I feel bad for all the projects that launched on it (attempted to) in 2021 essentially under false pretence. None of them are alive aside from a DEX. The team might have thought they could turn it around but really they lost it in 2021 and their only chance was to fully engage with and bootstrap all the projects they had using the platform emissions. They did not do that and instead alienated everyone. UX poor Community support poor Intentions poor Actions poorer Founder presence extra poor There are other fairer POW projects out there, some also beginning with K and some not that are much better buys going into this run. Remember. It's not about being right. It's about finding the right answer.

Something i've been spending time on recently is how subnet's IMs connect into the new TAO flow emissions share on Bittensor $TAO. Subnet 41 @sportstensor is fascinating. Miners are rewarded for winning in markets, specifically Polymarket. They must win over a sustained period of time to be eligible. Any bettor that wins in general (providing good signal) is therefor eligible to earn emissions on the subnet. Emissions are released based on a 1% of $ volume on markets. For example if the subnet earns $100 in trading fees on Polymarket, then $100 will be released for emissions to miners, effectively as a bonus for creating winning signal. If the trading fee volume exceeds total miner emissions than that's automatic positive TAO flow for the subnet. This on paper seems like the subnet itself will start to gain 'profit' on miner emissions only once fees > emissions. However i've been thinking about this for the last few days. If I was a miner on SN41 and i was winning already on my bets, then my margin is already achieved and 41 tokens are a bonus payment. I don't HAVE to sell. What would I do if i was a winning miner? Well knowing any deviation lower than selling all my earned tokens puts the subnet in positive net flow, i would make a conscious decision not to sell all of them (if any), because now, over time, my tokens would be worth more just by holding. How many miners would think the same way? It seems like an incredibly strong positive feedback loop in process here and doesn't seem much of a stretch to have a very large positive net TAO flow outside of any speculation very very quickly. Is subnet 41 the strongest IM in the eco at present? @neuromancer_t

It's fun discovering Bittensor $TAO subnets that have been drastically overlooked: SN105 @SoundsRight_SN I spent 15 years as a re-recording mixer in the television industry working on projects across pretty much every major global network, racking up 1000s of hours worth of content. As more and more content is produced over time, budget per content hour gets lower and becomes more commoditised. One of the largest challenges we dealt with on a daily basis was poorly recorded audio leading to lack of intelligibility of dialogue. Many of these challenges were far more than dealing with simple EQ tweaks and we quite regularly had to deploy complex noise reduction techniques. Every so often you'd get sequences of dialogue where the background noise was meandering and changing all the time, and standard tools fail to deal with the problem. Due to budgets you run out of time leading to sub standard output, all because the source material was poorly recorded. Fix it in post is a thing, but sometimes it's just too far. Step in SN105 @SoundsRight_SN where they're deploying models for vocal enhancement, and have just increased their spec to 48khz, which happens to be the standard delivery sample rate for audio visual content worldwide. There's a huge market for the easy remedy of poor quality dialogue recordings due to both reducing TV budgets and new delivery formats such as Youtube and tiktok, where the content creators have less access to specialist tools. If SN105 can produce tools that solve these issues in a few clicks, then there's a huge market of creators and studios, whether it's creating their own plugins charging subscriptions, or licensing the models to companies that make them. At it's current price of 0.0013 i think it's way undervalued...

If it's a @YumaGroup Bittensor subnet, don't buy it. They should be incentivised to offer their teams better terms, so let's cut them off and drive the change we want to see. $TAO
