For someone who’s clearly a connector, Devrim’s idea of self-promotion is sharing scenic forest videos — like your indie launch is so chill even the trees want a front-row seat. Maybe next time you can co-host a podcast with a squirrel or two to really shake things up!

Successfully launched multiple indie products while maintaining an active build-in-public presence, getting valuable user feedback and fostering a loyal founder-mode community.

Devrim’s life purpose revolves around fostering genuine connections between creators and users, cultivating supportive ecosystems, and democratizing tech innovation through open dialogue and shared knowledge.

Devrim believes in the power of community-driven growth, transparency, and helping others without expecting immediate returns. They trust authentic human interaction and collaboration over hype and superficial marketing.

A natural bridge-builder, Devrim excels at nurturing relationships through meaningful conversations and collaborative problem-solving, making those in the indie and founder communities feel genuinely supported.

Sometimes Devrim underestimates their own distribution and influence, which can cause missed opportunities to amplify their voice more aggressively beyond their immediate network.

To grow the audience on X, Devrim should lean into their strong community ties by hosting Twitter Spaces, engaging in frequent Q&A threads, and spotlighting fellow indie makers regularly to build mutual visibility and trust.

Despite launching products with little distribution power, Devrim cleverly uses creative content, like lakeside forest videos, to engage audiences and share the journey authentically.

I launched 2 (two) of my products on @ProductHunt today. I know, as an indie maker with little to no distribution power, I'm not going to make it into the featured tab or anywhere near the top of the list. So, instead I shared a video from a lakeside forest in Finland. So that people who magically saw the listing can at least enjoy some views. Talked a little about the product though, couldn't keep myself from doing it. :) One of the products, is Genes, I finally after 7 years got myself to bundle to provide publicly. And the other is actually a major update on a previously failed PH launch, Playtoob. CC: #indiehackers #buildinpublic This is a part of that video, there is more on PHšŸ‘‡

The other day, I started researching how to set up an affiliate program. I tweeted about it, and once again, a CEO in #foundermode came to the rescue. @emmetgibney from @getRewardful kindly sent me a DM, offering to answer the questions I had in mind. I managed to grab a bit of his time from his schedule, and he was incredibly helpful. He reassured me that my projects were a good fit for an affiliate system and gave me some genuine advice on what steps I should take first. One thing I’ve noticed about makers in founder mode is their common trait of genuinely trying to help you with solutions that address your needs, rather than just selling you something without care. I’m convinced that this is what real maker spirit is all about! Thank you Emmet. šŸ™ #indiemakers #buildinpublic

I kept seeing @peer_rich's avatar in my feed, but only after I registered to @calcom and received an email from him I combined the two things, and lived an oooh moment, that was him he was talking about Cal-com. Greatly done BTW. Simple, solid, dependable. Things we expect from a software. šŸ™šŸ¤˜šŸš€

Hey, I'm starting an affiliate program for my two products that already have hundreds of free users and a couple of sales. a. What do you think I should use, @ToltHQ? @getRewardful? Any other? (They are expensive for someone who does not have much sales yet btw) b. What is the rate I should give out? 20%, 30%, 40%? c. I think the service should be integrated to Stripe, and should do payouts to Paypal and Wise at least. Am I wrong?
