Took this picture in March 2020. ETH and BTC fell by 50%. I thought it might be the end for crypto, so I was afraid to buy. But it only went up from there, and I ended up buying at higher prices a few days later. Today's dip is nowhere near that level of fear, but I'm buying this dip anyway.

1/ Are you holding USDC in panic mode right now? Yes, USDC is in trouble, but it's not going to zero like UST. Circle has already clarified how much cash they have stuck, and the situation might be better than what the market is pricing right now.

"I don’t think that’s worth it bc the space likely does not last forever" One of the most successful crypto personas shows that incentives in crypto are broken. Honest actors don't benefit as much as opportunists. And a morally acceptable and honest monetization in crypto is hard. Really hard.

Forbes research published a list of 20 crypto billion-dollar zombies. These are L1s with high valuation but "are unproven and have little utility other than for speculative crypto trading." Notable mentions: $STX, $ICP, $FTM, $ADA, $EOS...

Crypto taught me to bet against arrogance and invest in humility. Some of the most arrogant people ended up rekt: • Do Kwon — “Your size is not size” • Avraham Eisenberg — “What are you gonna do, arrest me?” • SBF — “Sell me all you want. Then go f*ck off” • Richard Heart... • Craig Wright... They reach highs, become arrogant, and inevitably fall. The current U.S. administration is falling into this trap as well. That's why I admire Vitalik, arguably the most successful crypto founder who remains grounded in humility.

Suppose you sell crypto and need to hold USDC without touching it for a year. And EURC Where do you put it to maximize yield while sleeping well? Most yields require active management (moving from vaults, deposits, changing contracts etc.)

Unpopular opinion: Airdrops should be vested. Especially for KOLs. Current playbook: Claim airdrop ASAP and sell. And move on. Even if you're bullish on the token it's better sell first and then buy back later as airdrop induced selling stops. Vesting playbook: Airdrop launches at high FDV. You get huge airdrop. You feel rich. But you need 6 months until tokens slowly unlock. What do you do? Continue to be bullish about the project. Post about it. Check on the community sentiment. Check what the team says etc. If airdrop is vested, you are aligned in the longer run. Sure, you can say it delays the inevitable dumping but projects get valuable mindshare in the meantime.

Bybit asked to return 44.67 ETH from the Paraswap DAO that Bybit hacker paid in SWAP FEES. This decision has ethical and legal responsibilities against the DAO and sets a precedent for the wider DeFi ecosystem (notably Thorswap). I'm a Paraswap DAO delegate but still split on how to vote: On the one hand, DAO profiting from a hack is bad optics. Returning it shows support for another industry player against a sanctioned state actor. And keeping the funds may attract regulatory scrutiny. Bybit is a strong actor so returning avoids legal headaches. 44.6k ETH is not that much. But!!! I'm worried on about setting precedents for DeFi: Code is law. The DAO earned the fees legitimately via smart contracts. And if funds are returned now, what about future cases? Sets a dangerous precedent. And at the end of the day, Bybit’s poor security (I know Safe UI was compromised, but still) led to the hack. Should DAOs cover for CeFi mistakes? I'm leaning towards returning most of the fund minus 10% Bybit official bounty. Just worried about the precedents being set here. What am I missing?
