Building in Public for 100 Days - Week 1 Week one flew by. I got 30k impressions replying to a viral post, gained 25 followers, but had nothing ready to capitalize on it. The traffic showed up before the product did. Painful, but educational. Here's everything I learned in the first week: Don't Sleep on Replying. - Almost all of my engagement, impressions, profile views & follows have come from my replies. There's nothing more valuable for a small account to do than to reply to other peoples posts in a meaningful way. Images Drive Early Engagement. - I've noticed when I attach an image to my post engagement is much stronger especially with the first 10-20 impressions. Build Before You Grow. - I thought I was going to use the first week "warming up" the account to the algorithm. Then a reply hit 30k impressions and I had nowhere to send the traffic. No landing page, no email capture, no product link. Growth without infrastructure is just wasted opportunity. Quality Beats Frequency (at least for now). - I posted consistently all week with questions, observations, insights. Most of them landed flat with practically no likes, no replies, nothing. That's fine. Week 1 is about testing what doesn't work before doubling down on what does. Next week, keep showing up, but do it a little differently. On the building side, my first Notion template is about 80% done. One more build session and I can finally launch something. Week 2 is all about shipping it, setting up proper infrastructure, and making sure I'm ready when the next opportunity hits. Onto week 2.

Can't seem to start your day on a productive note? It's not motivation. It's design. Most days are decided in the first 30 minutes. Here's some battle-tested ways to fix this grounded in psychology🧠 The Night Before: - Review tomorrow's calendar and commitments - Explicitly state what you want to get done the next day(aim at nothing, hit nothing) - I typically pick 1 main objective and 2 supporting tasks, or 3 equal priorities. - We don’t want to waste energy deciding what to do when its game time. Morning Routine - Priming: - Keep it consistent. -- Quick review of the days priorities / commitments. -- Tidy up workspace. -- Make coffee / Tea. -- Lock in. Bonus Tip - Things to avoid in the Morning: Excessive Scrolling (30min+) | Entertainment TV | Sugary Food What Most People Miss: - Your day is determined by what you DON'T do, just as much as it is by what you DO. - Protect your first few hours like they're sacred. This is when you're most focused, and these hours set the tone for the rest of the day. Why This Works: - Most people wake up asking "what should I do today?" -- That question burns mental energy before you've done anything meaningful. - This system moves all decisions to the night before. -- Your morning brain doesn't have to decide, it just has to execute. - Every minute spent deciding is a minute not doing. What to do Next: - Tonight: Write down at least one priority. - Tomorrow: LOCK IN!

Got a little carried away with a side project last night😅 I was sorting through my Pokemon cards for grading & before I knew it I had thrown together a full dashboard in Notion to keep track of it all. Now I can: ✅ Track Grading Submissions & Costs ✅ See Collection Value at a Glance ✅ Track ROI & Expenses ✅ Decide Which Cards to Grade More Accurately This is what I love about Notion, you can create a system for literally anything. Anybody else love to build random stuff in Notion?

I commented on a post that went viral and my reply blew up, along with my analytics! → 6K impressions → 340 engagements → 33 profile visits → 11 new followers Doesn't happen every time, but it's a good reminder for how valuable replying can be. Especially for new accounts!

Just planned out two weeks of content in Notion. I’ve spent way too long trying to plan the “perfect” start instead of posting. I'm realizing now, in order to be a good content creator, first you have to be a content creator, so I'm diving in & documenting the process as I go!
