Just caught a YC mock interview video and learnt that clarity really does make or break your pitch. It’s less about fancy buzzwords and more about the essentials like what you’re building, who it's for, and the insights you're gaining along the way. For us Indie hackers... we do best when we keep a laser focus on actual users and straightforward metrics. But the challenge is... can you sum up your project in one honest sentence?

Was just reading about this founder who spun Skype's shutdown into a $14K/month gig. Super wild how that works... Bro just launched the whole thing in days and started selling almost instantly. really hammers home how timing is everything... and acting fast pays off. I guess it's all about hitting proven markets quickly and getting that immediate traction. Makes me wanna speed up my own process, start validating ideas faster, and really tighten up those feedback loops. Kinda inspiring to think about speeding things up like that hahaha!

They didn’t just hope for the best... they actually tested things out first. Started with a fake landing page and some AI demos, and boom, people were putting down $500 deposits. That Stripe notification wasn't just another email...it was real proof that people wanted what they were selling. It’s less about how fast you can build stuff, more about how quickly you figure out what really resonates with customers. There's of cos a thin line between confidence and fraud but I'm sure they already have some credentials for people to put money down...
