DeepCast didn't work out (COGS to PMF state ratio failed—tell old old of time) What I want: 0) Live, breathe, build, iterate in AI-native company 0.a) Or, a company that making material investments in agents, agent-driven development, AI engineering, DevX, and as many unique corpora as possible 1) An amazing team who believes in this future & an organization that removes friction and bureaucracy 2) Something meaty to really dig into—in any role capacity (I'm a range generalist, so throw shit at me and I execute) 3) Capacity and agency to vibe code POCs a lot—if not merge permissions into master/main :) Even senior execs should be doing this, IMHO 4) Remote work OR in-office in Seattle (OR option to fly to SF 2-3 days a week), as we're relocating from LA to Seattle to move into our new home (!!) What is DeepChat, you ask? Well, given you haven't heard of it prior to this moment, you probably didn't ask that... :) Man, the team really crushed v0 of this feature. On the @deepcastfm Podsites, podcasters can turn on this feature such that fans can: 1. "Chat with a podcast" (cross-episode chat, with episode citation links) 2. "Chat with an episode" (focused on a single episode, with transcript citation deep-links) What a way for a listener to reconnect with a podcaster's content, amiright!? If you have a podcaster friend who might benefit from something like this, you should direct them to DeepCast Creator (deepcast.pro) stat! TY!

Holy crap! The big takeaway here for me isn't the raise size but the ARR number! Mind you, Cursor has about 25% of the TAM for agentic coding, vs about 80% at the beginning of the year. That tells you JUST how BIG this market is, and that it keeps growing as "the code fades away". Congratulations @pvncher @mntruell and the rest of the @cursor_ai team! (And congrats to the GPs who are going to make amazing MOIC and existing folks on their IRR mark-ups!)

My biggest takeaway from @JohnPhamous at @aiDotEngineer was that: "You still have to design UIs in this AI era to be fast, trustworthy, accessible, and delightful [JUST like winning apps in the web and social/mobile eras.]" The more things change, the more they stay the same. Maybe because I started @deepcastfm, but people frequently ask me what podcasts I listen to to stay abreast of changes in AI. I have a long laundry list, so I decided to compile into a collection hosted on DeepCast. Trying out a new concept that I'd like to send out Fridays via a new @deepcastfm newsletter -- one per focus area, probably 5 to start -- prior to productizing it. The goal is to highlight compelling conversations in a field of study one is interested in, finding consensus vs. dissenting views, having clear citations and a means to consume further from the source. This first one used about 25 podcast transcripts from @thursdai_pod @HarryStebbings (20VC) @latentspacepod @kevinroose (Hard Fork) @MLStreetTalk @thisdayinai @AIDailyBrief @nlw @danshipper @LightconePod @ycombinator @GenerativeNow @lightspeedvp @dwarkesh_sp @a16z directly loaded into the Claude app, but the next version would be hybrid search with vector embeddings and attached metadata, as well as RAG-based access to generalized knowledge (and maybe real-time access next). Just curious: @karaswisher @HarryStebbings @lexfridman @ShawnRyan762, are any of you using GenAI like @elevenlabsio to generate your "host read" ads? Do advertisers care if it's "your voice" vs. a facsimile of your voice given the impact on listener perception is likely the same?
