Google Ads & Digital Marketing Framework (mechanism) 👇 After @dannypostmaa tweeted about his bad experience with a Google Ads agency, I decided to share a mechanism that will bring desired results with Google Ads (and can be applied to other advertisements as well). 0. Digital Marketing Framework There are several popular marketing frameworks like RACE, AIDA, SOSTAC, etc., but I prefer to use the See-Think-Do-Care Framework by @avinash. While you can go without planning and a framework, it can result in a messy approach and the potential loss of some audience. I experienced this in 2009 when I was taking my first steps with my own eCommerce project. In a nutshell, it's about understanding different stages of customer consideration and determining appropriate activities. You can Google it or ask an AI assistant for more information 😉 1. "Discovery" Campaign - "See" Stage (Usually allocated 10-20% of the budget) Here, you start with broad match keywords (KW) and discover relevant search terms. Any completely irrelevant terms should immediately be added to the negative KW list, while relevant ones should be moved to the next stage. Pro tip: Don't forget to add relevant KWs as negative KWs in phrase match ("KWs") since we have already discovered them and don't need to spend the budget on them in this stage. Be careful, as you have global lists of negative KWs and specific campaign-based negative lists. You should only add to the campaign-based negative list. 2. "Polish and Shine" Campaigns - "Think" Stage (Allocated 30-40% of the budget) In this stage, you create separate campaigns with relevant KWs obtained from the Google Ads KW planner and discovered in the previous stage. You mainly work with phrase match KWs but continue adding irrelevant search terms to the negative KW list in phrase match. This list can and should be global, as it helps prevent budget leaks for the "Discovery" campaign as well. I suggest grouping semantically and contextually related KWs into ad groups (10-20 KWs) and focusing on refining the ad text and selecting the appropriate landing page. 3. "Yoo-Hoo" Campaigns - "Do" Stage (Allocated 40%+ of the budget) Some colleagues in the industry don't separate this stage into different campaigns and include it in previous stages. It can work that way too, but I prefer to keep it separate since it's the "chicken that lays only golden eggs." Here, we solely use exact match KWs that exactly match the search query and consistently generate desired conversions (as we know from the "Polish and Shine" campaigns). 4. "Care" Stage (Often underrated) Usually, I don't use ads in this stage, and all communication happens via push notifications or emails. Existing customers need your support and proper attention, such as how-to or FAQ emails, etc. If done right, additional revenue from upsells and referrals can be mind-blowing. 3+. “Bonus” Stage Once you have a clear understanding of your sales funnel and identify where potential customers drop off, you can take advantage of the remarketing/retargeting. By creating a targeted cohort audience and implementing remarketing strategies, you can effectively convert those individuals who have shown interest but haven't made a purchase yet. The key here is to carefully track the conversion window, from the initial touchpoint to the actual conversion, and ensure that your audience segments are automatically refreshed. For instance, if it typically takes 3-5 days from ad click to conversion, set your audience duration for 5-6 days from the point of funnel drop. It's a smart approach to optimise your budget by avoiding advertising to those who are unlikely to make a purchase. If you find this valuable, please like and retweet. Comments and questions are welcome 🤝

This morning, I planned to listen to the morning show hosted by @d4m1n and @TakoTreba. However... 1. Ukraine's leading phone and internet operator, Kyivstar, experienced a hacker attack (600 Kbps is killing me). 2. monobank is currently facing a massive DDoS. 3. My schedule is completely disrupted. Nevertheless, I'm staying positive: - I can listen to the recording of the morning show later. - Kyivstar is expected to fully recover in just 2-3 hours 💪 - @monobankua is working flawlessly 🤘 - Clients are understanding and willing to reschedule meetings ❤️ - I'm considering purchasing @starlink for better internet connectivity 📡 - I'm also increasing my donations to @U24_gov_ua 🙏 PS. @x works with an internet speed of only 600-1000 Kbps 👌
Two features that make me love the Arc Search iOS browser by @browsercompany 1. Summaries 2. Browse for Me The first feature is excellent for saving time and providing a summary of a post or article, allowing you to quickly decide whether to read it in full or not. As a side hack, you can use it to generate concise descriptions of your product. Take a look at what I got on @shipixen The second feature is perfect for gathering consolidated information from various sources. Product Hunt: Execute not pardon The Product Hunt Launch Day (PH) is behind me, and I've taken a moment to catch my breath and corral my thoughts. First and foremost, I'm at a loss for words to express my gratitude and admiration for the support I received yesterday on X and LinkedIn: Thank you, you're all incredibly awesome 🙌 Special mentions: @d4m1n Dan, you acted as the Hunter and provided invaluable assistance both in preparation and during the launch. A massive, heartfelt thank you 🤩 @TakoTreba Sandra, your cheat sheet for launching on Product Hunt gave me a clear understanding of what to do and where to run. This is incredibly useful when your head is buzzing with ideas and you don't know where to start 😍 @morningmakersho community, guys and gals, I couldn't have dreamed of such high engagement and support. I'm thrilled to be among you and ready to reciprocate and support you at any moment 🤗 Now, let's get to the results: - TOL garnered 119 upvotes and 40+ comments on launch day and continues to receive upvotes even now: currently at 152. - From the very beginning, PH inexplicably pushed TOL to the bottom of the leaderboard without any reasonable explanation, depriving it of the opportunity to be supported by the platform's audience (screenshot in the comment) - PH: Execute not pardon. Where to put a comma? Now, in more detail... Is 119 upvotes a lot or a little? On the same day, Nothing company launched their first phone from the sub-brand CMF Phone 1. They were on the featured list and only got 90 upvotes... It's inexplicable, considering Nothing's army of brand enthusiasts. How many upvotes would TOL have gotten if it was on the featured list, or at least not pushed to the very bottom of the regular list? Top 3? - I don't think so, considering how many the leaders got. Top 5? - I could +/- imagine that. Top 10? - Absolutely yes. What happened and why TOL was downgraded - I never received a sensible answer from PH support, I've only gotten general answers. If it was a technical glitch, there was time to fix it after my inquiry or at least acknowledge it. If I was demoted for policy violations or some other reason, I think it would be right to inform me about it and give me a chance to correct it or file an appeal. After all, the product launch was planned in advance - 30.06.2024. And the cherry on top: as soon as I published information about the PH launch day on LinkedIn, I was bombarded with offers to artificially inflate upvotes and comments. PH needs to do something about this, as it completely undermines the whole point of the TOP list and voting in general. If PH wants to make money from advertising medium and large brands that can afford a budget of $5k-$10k, they need to shut down these click farms. Just imagine, you allocate $5k to promote a product launch on PH, while someone else buys inflated upvotes at $1 per upvote, i.e., 5000 upvotes for the same budget 🤯 @rajivayyangar, not sure if you'll see this, but action is needed. Checking profiles, their social networks, etc., can be done automatically. And once a week, PH staff could launch their own fake products and receive hundreds of offers for inflated votes (sort of mystery shopping from PH)... @ProductHunt: Execute not, pardon. Despite my not-so-positive experience, this is exactly how I'll place the comma in this catchphrase, as Product Hunt is still a unique platform, and competitors haven't come close yet. I really want to believe that they also see and understand the situation and are working to fix it. What's next The Product Hunt launch helped me uncover areas in the product that need improvement, and it also acted as a switch/milestone for moving from closed beta to public beta. Now it's only forward, and marketing forever! P.S. Will I launch my next product on PH? - More likely yes than no. P.P.S. Will I consider launching on alternative platforms? - Definitely yes.

TOL is now 13th on @ProductHunt , and it's all thanks to you, my amazing Twitter friends 😍. But we need more firepower! I just realized some social heavyweights are following me: @shl, @dvassallo, and @arvidkahl. Their combined audience is over 658K—mind-blowing, right? Guys, if you have a moment and wouldn't mind, a like and retweet of my PH release tweet would be a game-changer for me 👇 And honestly, it would blow my mind!
If you're here, it's not a bug – it's a feature! Here's the scoop: When you click theonly.link/say from my Twitter profile (or in this post), my tool, The Only Link (TOL), kicks in with its Smart Redirects. This nifty feature guides your traffic exactly where you want it, based on parameters like time, date, device, OS, browser type, source (like Twitter), locale, and location. Want to test it? Copy and paste the link into your browser, and you'll end up on my TOL profile page, since it'll count as direct traffic instead of a Twitter referral. So, what can you do with it? The possibilities are endless: - Promote special offers - Direct traffic to event booking forms - Redirect to app store installations for iOS/Android - Use QR codes for webinars or meetings - Integrate with printed materials - And much more! Got questions? Drop them in the comments or DM me. Let's chat about how TOL can be your go-to, hassle-free link solution!

From now on, whenever someone is pushy about offering backlink services, I'll refer them to @philkellr's backl_io as a solution why I don't need their service 🤓 Something is telling me that "Average engagement time" on the website could increase or even sales 😉 By the way, I have nothing to share to lead gen guys
