William has turned the phrase 'fail fast, fail often' into a lifestyle brand — at this point, his startup resumé needs its own reality show called 'Failing Upwards: The Musical.' Just remember, buddy, even Elon Musk hits the launch button without crashing every rocket... sometimes.

Despite multiple setbacks and debt battles, William successfully built WRITA from a weekend prototype into a functioning MVP, attracted a cohort of beta testers, and secured partnerships with key developers and 7-figure entrepreneurs—showcasing true entrepreneurial resilience.

William's life purpose is to empower creators and entrepreneurs by leveraging AI to produce authentic, engaging content that breaks conventional molds and builds real connections. He's driven to demonstrate that resilience and raw transparency can turn struggles into scalable success.

He believes in relentless hustle balanced with self-care, transparency in journey-sharing, and embracing failure as an essential part of growth. William values authenticity over polished perfection and champions innovative tools that amplify human creativity.

William’s unshakable persistence and openness invite meaningful engagement and inspire his audience to embrace the messy reality of entrepreneurship. His ability to juggle technical development with deep community building positions him as a genuine influencer with an authentic voice.

Occasionally, his transparency around setbacks might overshadow his successes, risking the perception of inconsistency or uncertainty. Balancing hustle with self-care remains a fragile tightrope that sometimes threatens to tip into burnout.

To grow his audience on X, William should leverage more storytelling threads that combine his SaaS progress with relatable personal anecdotes, using engaging visuals or short videos to humanize his brand further. Collaborating with other creators and participating in relevant X Spaces could expand his reach while deepening authentic engagement.

William's life story reads like a startup survival guide—from losing a job in 2020 to launching a promising AI content platform in 2024, all while battling debt, burnout, and major pivots.

William lore: 2020: Had an electrical apprenticeship locked in via high school co-op then COVID hit and I lost my job. Move back home and started working at a lumber yard. 2021: Got serious about going deep in entrepreneurship and got my life insurance licence to build a business in finance. Spent $10-15k on courses to get skills and grow the business and was $60,000 in debt due to a poor financial decision with a new vehicle. 2022: sold the truck, closed the business and quit my job then moved to a ski town in BC to fulfill my childhood dream of doing a ski season. $8,000 in debt and started my first content agency here, within 2 weeks had 2 clients paying me $4-500/m. 2023: Got tired of the ski town life and decided I wanted to further my skills in music production and become an audio engineer. Moved to another new city and started school. Also met my first business partner and we launched Founding Fathers Solutions Inc. It was meant to be a content agency but we shit the bed hard with this one. Ended up losing thousands of $ and went deeper into debt. Net worth at this point is like -$15,000. 2024: Hit complete burnout with the content agency and was forced to close it down after only making like $4-5k. Went on hikes with some huge entrepreneurs that made me feel like an ant (Dan Martell, Dan Harrison and more). Almost dropped out of school to focus on business but decided to stick it out, thank god. Net worth didn’t change much. 2025: Moved back to my hometown after graduating, got a job as a Jr RF Engineer/producer and started paying down my debt + saving for runway. Started learning AI automation and computer science online. Started building WRITA. This shit takes time. Looks like fail after fail and it definitely felt like it But I got a bag of skills now, WRITA is about to blow the fuck up

Sup lads, I haven’t really been the best at “documenting in public” thus far tbh This weeks progress below 👇🏻 But here’s some context It was probably like 2-3 weeks ago I had the idea for WRITA while building ai automations for online businesses Soon as I had it I knew I had to double down So I spent a weekend using my limited coding skills and v0 to vibe code a prototype I then found a developer on X who really fucked with the vision and said he’d be down to help in anyway he could Soon after we decided to lock in together and turn the prototype into a real MVP I’m building the marketing, distribution, operations, sales and brand (along with my brand manager) while he focuses on helping turn my product vision into reality and running the behind the scenes (goat) If you missed my old post, this is the V team structure I was talking about Now that you’re caught up here’s where we are at Progress this week: DEVELOPMENT - set up GitHub, Supabase, and all the accounts we need for dev stuff - got started building out the frontend - planned out the DB structure - most of the core user workflow mapped SALES/MARKETING/OPS - 33 confirmed beta testers - prolly like 700 cold dms - domain secured - pricing structure built - early adopters program ideated - networked with multiple 7 fig entrepreneurs in various industries Next on the list: - hooking in the AI models to do the smart stuff - running through the full workflow to see how it feels - MVP testing (1,10,100) -final round: test the live site before launch I know this was a lengthy tweet but I wanted to catch everybody up I truly suck at the day 1 of x amount challenges lol
