Feeling emotional as I type this out. 1 year ago, I left my full-time web2 job. I was confident about doing so since I was earning a stable, comfortable salary from different projects in web3 - even though I wasn’t hired under any specific agency. I ate good. The kids ate good. 6 months ago, I started losing every project in my portfolio. Some died. Others said “we’ve minted, we’re building, we don’t need you anymore.” The standard of living in Singapore is painfully high. With 2 kids in tow, I depleted all my savings in 2 months. I started liquidating everything. Took loans on every valuable NFT I had. Sold every token. Sold every irl asset I had, save for my house and laptop. I was crashing. I applied for jobs in web3 thinking my past experience was enough - but it wasn’t. Then I found @surgence_io… and I found hope again. I found my drive again. I felt motivated, more than ever - like I had smth worth fighting for, and even more to protect. I’m incredibly grateful to still be in web3 - to have the freedom to work from anywhere and still be present for my kids. Being able to watch them grow and really spend time with them means everything to me. It took all this for me to finally understand: when one door closes, another really does open. To those who believed in me and supported me through the darkest times - thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You know who you are. It’s my comeback arc now.

I think I’ve found the easiest way to explain what @OpenledgerHQ is about. We all know healthcare specialists exist for a reason - to treat a part of you that a general doctor can’t. It’s like how you wouldn’t go to a GP for brain surgery, right? Same goes for the tech world. And that's why why we need specialized models in AI. Generic models can only go so far. To solve real problems, we need models trained on the right data, by the people who actually know their stuff. And OpenLedger’s making sure those people get rewarded for knowing AND sharing their stuff. Makes more sense now? 🐙 P.S. In the video, Ram casually teased that they're working with one of the biggest e-commerce platforms. Any guesses who that might be?

GM! Honest question, is k4ito cooking for any of you smaller creators? Or are we cooked? Feels like the algo's a lil skewed towards pure engagement + impressions lately, instead of actual content quality. Not sure if anyone else noticed this too, or is it just me? My only experience on k4ito was yapping OpenLedger back then and the consistency + effort actually paid off well despite my lower than average reach, so this shift does feel kinda discouraging. Pretty sure my @MetaWin rank will continue to drop to around 50 or even lower, by the end of this month's campaign… Especially since their leaderboard resets monthly, while k4ito uses a rolling 30d lb which is the only reason why I'm displaying a higher rank on k4ito rn. Still hoping they introduce some ACM-style weightage tho so the system feels fair to real creator-users too. Well at least I'm farming casino points daily + having fun while at it! some ppl have been asking me: if you're only putting in $5 on your @trylimitless bets, where's the growth? well. i literally grew from $10 to $100 in one week, mostly off $5 bets 😅 for odds of about 60%, $5 gives me ~$3 in profits. if it turns out to be a loss, i recoup that easily in 2 wins. i'm a conservative trader, so i prefer stacking small wins. the last time i got greedy and doubled/tripled my bets, i got wiped out reeaaaallll fast, so i'm never going there again. flex aside, this is just what works for me. you do what works for you, and at the end of the day, we celebrate the Ws together 🥂 side note: since i'm in my "gambling" arc... kinda tempted to give @MetaWin a try. who knows, maybe i'll be the next millionaire 🤑
