For a guy who claims to love storytelling, Tim’s Twitter thread lengths are basically the novel version — are we sure he’s not secretly trying to write the next blockchain epic trilogy instead of just tweeting?

Successfully transitioning from a developer and mentor to a strategic Infra Partnership Lead at Story Protocol, while simultaneously spearheading the integration of IP-focused blockchain solutions and launching multiple testnet and mainnet projects.

To revolutionize how intellectual property is protected, managed, and leveraged in the digital age by creating robust blockchain infrastructures that empower creators worldwide.

Tim firmly believes that IP, when combined with blockchain tech, can redefine ownership and economic impact for creators, and that technical innovation should always serve real-world creative ambitions. He values persistence, collaboration, and staying ahead of market trends to bring pioneering ideas to life.

His unique blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and storytelling ability enables him to foresee market needs and build cutting-edge solutions. His high work ethic and hands-on experience in coding, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem building are invaluable assets.

With such intense dedication and a relentless workload, Tim sometimes risks burnout and may undervalue the importance of slowing down for reflection or meme culture engagement, which keeps online communities vibrant.

To grow his audience on X, Tim should leverage his storytelling talent by sharing more behind-the-scenes development stories and personal insights in simplified, engaging threads. Engaging more with trending memes or lighthearted IP gaming content could also humanize his tech-heavy persona and attract a broader following.

Fun Fact: Tim started his programming journey in high school with dreams of transforming web novels and comics (webtoons) into global sensations, ultimately leading him to blockchain and IP innovation!

Actually, it’s my birthday today, time to do the drop. As promised, this is a big announcement. I have joined @StoryProtocol as the Infra Partnership Lead. I am still very bullish on FLock, for sure. But to me, Story is very different. Before getting into the details, I want to express my gratitude to @brutoshi_ and Greg, who introduced me to @leo_hao, and to Leo for his strong support, as well as @WeileiY, @devrelius, and @jasonjzhao. I am glad to be part of this fantastic team. I look forward to collaborating with the team to create the best development environment for hackers and developers on the Story Chain, leveraging my experience as a developer, hacker, mentor, and Story ecosystem builder. If you are building something or thinking of building something around IP, feel free to DM me! So why Story? So many people DMed and ask me why I step down from FLock. Here is why This is a long story. (See, I am so into storytelling, definitely a reason why.) I started my programming life with web development. During high school, I always wanted to start a company that brought the experience of webtoons or QiDian Webnovel to the Western world. I believed a similar design could work. I worked on the idea throughout my undergraduate years, but after graduating, I found out both companies were doing very well overseas, and web novels had become a hot trend. To differentiate myself, I started investigating features I could implement to stand out. Blockchain popped into my search. So, technically speaking, I got into Web3 because of IP. Then I founded @CreaderDao with some friends, while studying, and I transitioned this startup idea into my master's thesis. I researched why we should use blockchain and NFTs to revamp the existing IP protection system. The conclusion was more related to economic impact than technical impact. However, I did not continue with the idea because it was too early for the market, and I wasn't ready, nor was the market. Over the past few years, I kept brainstorming ideas and contributing code with trending features in the market (my side hustle, but also a project that allowed me to practice product analysis, market analysis, development construction, and coding). In April 2023, I was introduced to ERC6551. The first moment I saw the idea, I thought this was a perfect foundation for IP—the IP account. For my master's, I also investigated how to use smart contracts to segment rights from IP. I conducted many tests and wrote code after trying it out at EthGlobal Lisbon. In September 2023, I saw the news about Story's fundraising and went down the rabbit hole. I discovered Story was doing everything I had thought about 2-3 years ago, which led to the production of this article. This is also how I got in touch with the team, with Leo, and where the story begins. After craving Testnet, I finally got my chance during ETHDenver to try out the codebase integration and build the “AI Model Licensing platform” for FLock. At the same time, I revamped Creader and started implementing Story Protocol for the V2 upgrade. Joining Story doesn’t mean I think FLock is bad. For me, IP and Blockchain are where I started, and I have always been interested in them. I hope to continue working in this field to help creators become better. Therefore, when I decided to move, I saw it as a lifetime shame if I did not take the chance. FLock is also great, and it was a hard decision. Lastly, some thoughts on Story L1. Last year, inspired by xLog, I wanted to build my chain for Creader. I always think an IP Chain is necessary; we need a hub or infrastructure to provide technical ground for all IPs. I am strongly aligned with the vision. SO LET THE NEW STORY BEGIN -> IP WORLD FOR ALL

其余时间3次SF crunch time,日本3次,KBW,token,devcon,zuthailand。
