Getting sick twice in less than a month is crazy ngl. I couldn't do anything this week but sleep, pray, and take my meds. Had so much planned out for the week, only for my body to say nahhh... we ain't doing shi😭 Missed it here, tho.

Being good isn't enough. • Show up. • Share your work. • Stay consistent. Being seen changes everything.

Towards the end of 2024, I lost 2 design gigs. One of them was on the night of December 31st. While others were shouting “Happy New Year,” I was just there, not sure what step to take next. I broke down for weeks. Not crying every day or anything - but mentally, I was just... lost. • Kept doing the same things. • No results. • Just a confused dude tryna figure it out. And to make it worse, I was attending some long classes during that period. Good stuff, but it also pulled my energy away from chasing clients. But instead of letting it get to me, I chose to do what I know: • I just kept showing up. • Kept designing. • Kept learning. Even hopped on a Design challenge during that period that changed my perspective about design. I got access to my laptop in October, but I never really touched Photoshop because too much work was on me. That quiet season gave me the time. So I opened Photoshop… and started learning. Little by little. Day by day. Still... • No clients. • No big gigs, no applause. • Just me, my screen, and the process. Then 2 months later, boom - my first 6-figure gig landed. Wasn't Luck or Magic. It came because I stayed in the game. Just staying consistent when it made no sense. --- Here’s what that season taught me: - Not every low moment is punishment - some are preparation. - If clients aren’t coming in, focus on building yourself. - Consistency & Discipline >>> motivation. Show up even when you feel tired. Mastering your craft in quiet seasons is what makes you loud later. This year, I’m still showing up - stronger, wiser, and more focused. Hoping & Working towards landing a better-paying Gig. To every creative out there feeling stuck: This might just be your build-up season. Keep going. I used to want to disappear. No socials. No pressure. Just quietly making money behind the scenes. And I know I’m not the only one. A lot of people feel this way too. It’s like the internet has become one giant stage. Everyone’s posting wins, Perfect projects, and Flawless progress. Meanwhile, you’re just there…Feeling like you haven’t figured it out. Like you’re behind. But here’s what I’ve come to realise: Most of the pressure? It’s just in your head. The people you feel intimidated by? • They’re not thinking about you. • They’re living. Earning. Eating breakfast. • They’re not trying to make you feel less, you're the one just seeing more. And here’s the truth: • You can’t build leverage in silence. • You can’t attract dream clients in silence. • You can’t grow your income or your brand in silence. Yes, disappear to build, but don’t stay hidden forever. At some point, you need to; • Show up. • Talk about what you do. • Share what you’re learning. Let people know you exist. I used to be scared too. Scared of "what people will say." But let’s be real; • If they talk, will it pay your bills? • Will it land you that dream client? • Will it get you the life you’re trying to build? The answer is no. Then why hold back? So now I show up. • Even when I don’t feel ready. • Even when it’s uncomfortable. Because I know staying hidden won’t take me where I want to go. If you needed this reminder today - this is it. You don’t need to be perfect to be seen. You just need to show up and make progress.

I started X to come sell a course. Then I saw how people do stuff here. I just knew I had to go back to Graphic Design. It didn't start off well for me here. But I kept on going. Today. I've achieved a lot with my skills. This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't started.
