Email-design weekend practice... A lil mockup for Magic Molecule. "Moha, why do you keep doing mockup work even thoo you're already busy with PAID client work?!" Fair question, aaand honestlyyy (I use that exact question to procrastinate xD). But here’s the thing, yea: when you get to work on brands that have a strong visual identity… You get the chance to SUCK design knowledge from far more experienced designers. And this doesn’t just make you a better "email designer"—it makes you a better designer overall. You get to learn: ✱ What great assets look like ✱ Which fonts hit just right ✱ What layouts to rock ✱ And of course, which colors and shapes are best for the vibe I’ve found that email is the perfect middle ground between a landing page and an ad/poster design. Pretty cool stuff (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ I’ve been "zombie-busy" with client work lately, BUT NO excuse to stop doing passion projects. (I really need to follow my own advice here xD) CYAAA

As a newbie ecom designer, I just learned something that took me waaay too long to figure out... "Most brands don't have much assets, let alone ones that you love. Your only option is to MAKE the assets yourself." That's why stacking graphic design skills will make you unstoppable and more useful. (Skills like photo manipulation for example: I made this email using the only raw asset I had — check the comments to see it) This will make more brands want to work with you → AKA YOU GET TO WORK ON COOLER PROJECTS! Pretty cool stuff :) Anyways, it's been a minute, but WE'RE BACK INSHALLAH!

We back with a lil email design exploration for Zevia (the name makes me think of a medication, not a soda ahahaha) Reaally enjoyed making this one tho I was PROACTIVELY thinking about how to make the design less flat—i.e., give it a sense of depth and perspective. I think that’s one of the ways you can achieve the “make it pop” all clients are looking for AHAHAHA. Some tricks I used to give it that sense of depth: ✱ Subtle gradients ✱ Placing elements and blurring them the farther they go from the focal point (just like how our eyes blur things when we focus on something) ✱ SHADOWS AND HIGHLIGHTS! Ofc, keeping it CRO-focused—we wanna make it pretty while still CASHING :) CYAAA

I reaaally love the color of this oyster...thinking of getting it. So I just decided to design this email. Took me about 3 hours... U think Rolex would give me a discount if I reached out with this email design?

Here's a recent email I've done for Ancient Healings... Had so much fun designing and coming up with the idea behind this email This is one of the first times I relied on twitter's AI to generate the images... Ofc I had to sauce the images with the glow effect and haze Even the background textures are AI generated Cool stuff

Been playing with 3d lately... AND OH BOI IT'S COOL. Made all the assets for these two emails COMPLETELY FROM SCRATCH. The fact that you are your own limitation for the assets you can get makes producing emails so much more fun! It doesn't matter if you don't like the product photos since you can just make new ones xD So what do you think about 3d? W or L

RAAAAAA Some 2AM email design exploration. Now that I woke up and am looking at it with a sober eye... Looks decent enough. I completely butchered the "CTA above the fold!!" but it's intriguing enough to force people to scroll, SAAAFE! xD And you know the saying, "MAN-MADE…

It's cool to make emails look gud... BUT What's better is gud-looking emails that PRINT... That's what you will learn from this email redesign I did for MyProtien. And it's all simple optimization you can steal for your ecom brand: ✱ DON'T DISTRACT ME FROM CLICKING - No need for more than your logo for the header; not the navigation buttons, not the small authority talk "we're the best nanani nanana"... Wanna say all that, keep it in the footer, or make a separate email about it. ✱ Give me a big and easy button to click on - you need to squint your eyes to find where to click in the old design. NA UH make contrasty, big, with clear language. ✱ Instead of saying, SHOW IT - The activewear deal at the buttom is kept secret for some reason. Make it clear by displaying the products and breaking the pattern from the rest of the email to hook the user. This was DAY 15... Giveaway soon btw ;)
