Every major company across every sector pays creators to promote their products for 10y+ people have been paid to post across all social media crypto is no exception, paid to post ≠ scam yes, disclosure matters. But when content creation starts in any industry disclosures are messy. celebrities didn’t disclose for years - it was obvious they were paid. if there are actual scammers, highlight them with evidence. but “paid to post” isn’t a crime leaking private campaign docs, including how much people get paid is crossing the line --- with great power comes great responsibility using a large audience to stir hate and exclusion toward creators you don’t know, simply because they accepted payment, is so irresponsible meanwhile the big guys are also paid to post but in more sophisticated ways.. sorry but if you think you are right right in doing this based on "not disclosed", this industry is an absolute joke --- every quarter I get more disappointed with this industry - its always the big fat guy slamming on the small guys zach was supposed to be one of the good guys why is zach so bothered with content creators? when there's constant crime and unfairness in this industry --- last time I commented zach drove the hate towards me and I got pretty nasty DMs I guess thats one way to use your influence

people are tired. it’s not just in denver. we have been tired for awhile. it never stops. but this tiredness is different. ethdenver was not the same as previous years. and it has nothing to do with the conference itself. people are sad. the excitement is lost. ethdenver is crypto talent freshers week. the seniors volunteer on educational roles. people actually listen. some even take notes from small notebooks and laptops. imagine coming back here and we are still asking about web3 UX. mass adoption. eth vs solana. and now DePIN and AI that took over most side events - when we haven’t even solved the first main problems to begin with. we don’t need more panels, side events and networking. the work needs to be done. some people left earlier. it’s almost depressing. but perhaps this is what it takes.
