I'm not alone. That's a powerful thing. I've been blessed to surround myself with supportive and caring friends - both online and offline. You can do it to. How? 1. I Was Honest with Myself and Others: Honest communication opens the doorway for deeper relationships. Every. Single. Time. Start with honesty with yourself. Address your desires and needs. Then begin pushing to communicate those daily. 2. I Sought Out Support and Encouragement: I've seen lots of advice to "move in the shadows". I understand the purpose. But I disagree. Find people who love you and share your goals. Their support will help push you to that finish line. I did this by establishing relationships through honesty. Then conveyed my goals and sought out advice. 3. I Praised Myself for Efforts: After each small task, I made sure to reward myself. Maybe it was a pat on the back or a nice burger. But either way I made sure to recognize my own achievements. This made me much more comfortable sharing them with others. Conclusion We all have the power to make friends and build a support network.
