But I see it as a long-term investment. I grabbed the $99 Black Friday deal, and here’s my strategy for using @contra the first year: When you invoice a client through @contra , a few things happen: You keep 100% of your earnings—no fees or cuts. You get a recommendation on your @contra profile. You earn a $25 bonus from @contra for each client. My goal for the first year is to collect as many recommendations as possible, gain badges, and make the most of the bonuses. So basically even if you don’t land jobs directly from the @contra job board, it’s still worth it. And when your profile is packed with recommendations and badges, you’ll stand out and this can attract clients organically to your profile. It also makes applying to jobs easier, your strong profile with reviews and badges gives you an edge over new users. This is my strategy. If you’re building in @framer often, I think a good advice is to take a bit of your time to set up your own go-to components. For example: a navbar you actually like using, a section with the right paddings and max-width already set, maybe a footer you don’t have to rebuild from zero every time ... It sounds simple but believe me setting up these things from zero everytime consume a lot of time. Just prep them once and re-use. You'll thank yourself later.
