It sounds like sci-fi, but it is already happening. OpenMind recently launched a training program for humanoid robots together with Robostore. A few years ago these machines cost over one hundred thousand dollars and were mostly used for demos. Today the prices are dropping, the models are getting smarter, and more universities and labs are adopting them for real education. This makes robotics knowledge accessible not only to engineers, but to any student who wants to try building and understanding intelligent machines. It is real democratization of the future.
