after 7 applications to get into @ycombinator, now i realized what 'make something people want' truely means. first, it is about founder-market-fit. - make: your unique ability to build and achieve - something: something real that you can show right now (even tiny things) - people: who constantly listen to you. e.g. customers/ audiences - want: what keeps people coming back. e.g. emotions/desires combine these words and you'll get what founders focus on first. - make something others can see and try - make people who care enough and listen to you when it all comes together, it forms a cycle of growth (make people want). launch asap → get people to notice and try it → listen to what people want → make & show again. this loop makes people a bit more happy, exited, curious. that emotion(something) makes your product scales.
