What always strikes me as absurd about UFO narratives is how human-centric they are. Even our own technology shrinks as it advances, it's logical: greater efficiency, less wasted energy. Yet people often imagine aliens, supposedly millions or billions of years more advanced, operating roughly on our scale, even physically. Consider our metabolism: anyone honest recognizes it's not intelligently designed, around 95% of it is redundant or inefficient. An optimal design could easily be far smaller, even within known biological constraints. Then there's the issue of timescale. Humans perceive reality at roughly 100 frames per second, yet even bees experience life at around 300 fps. With advanced technology, why wouldn't an alien civilization live at something like a trillion frames per second? The entire premise of "aliens resembling humans" ultimately reflects a profound failure of imagination.

The paradox for new programmers: Ignore AI and fall behind in productivity. Rely on it too much and you never learn the depth of code.

How do you balance the user acquisition/marketing efforts and product work as a solopreneur? I constantly see so many features and improvements I want to add, it's tough to deprioritize these in favor of marketing. Any rules of thumb you can share that worked with you?

One clear difference of AI doing most of my code today is that I don't need to have "locked-in" periods of DND. As there is almost zero cost to context switching.
