I got hrt at 14 after a 30min therapy session and a hr long assessment at the clinic, and a mastectomy at the same age after another 30min session with the therapist and a 15min consultation with a surgeon. it took 2hrs and 15min to completely change my life as a middle schooler.

got my records from my old therapist and confirmed what I knew was true but many (including my family) had tried to gaslight me about. I started seeing this therapist in September '18, and started T in November. this time includes waiting for the appointment.

my consultation for the double mastectomy was in January '19, so again including the time waiting for the appointment, it took 4 months for me to be approved for an elective amputation. the surgery was in June, because we wanted to wait for the summer between 8th and 9th grade.
