Blue tweets enough to keep a room full of crypto enthusiasts awake forever but still manages to make you feel like you’re the one who’s chronically under-researched. If sarcasm was a coin, Blue would already have their own blockchain.

Crafting the influential 'RegretFi' concept has not only added vocabulary to crypto culture but also positioned Blue as a key thought leader in holding Web3 communities accountable, marking a milestone in their digital advocacy career.

To expose both the strengths and flaws within the crypto and Web3 space, fostering transparency and integrity by holding influencers and projects accountable while promoting meaningful engagement.

Blue believes that authenticity trumps hype, that leaders should earn their trust through consistent, genuine support, and that informed critique is essential for a thriving, honest community. They hold the value of curated inclusion—welcoming new voices carefully while fiercely defending the ecosystem against opportunism.

Exceptional ability to analyze and communicate complex market dynamics clearly, backed by an extensive knowledge of Web3 players and projects. Their candid style attracts a dedicated audience that values blunt truths and thoughtful skepticism.

Sometimes their sharp critique can be misconstrued as harsh or alienating, potentially limiting engagement from more casual or newer community members looking for encouragement rather than tough love.

To grow their audience on X, Blue should leverage their strong analytical voice by hosting regular, interactive Twitter Spaces where they debate trending topics with community leaders and newcomers, turning critique into engaging dialogues and building a lively, loyal following.

Fun fact: Blue coined the phrase 'RegretFi' to describe the social consequences of jumping ship too quickly from crypto projects, turning community loyalty into a high-stakes game.

KOLs Love em or hate em (they kinda matter). The term KOL gets a bad rap in Web3. It's generally used in a broad-brush way. So often when you hear it you think 'insiders' or you think about big names simply trying to extract from their audience. And yeah, that happens. Crypto can bring out the worst in people. However, a lot of KOLs are great. KOL stands for Key Opinion Leader. This generally means someone who is informed, influential, and able to shape narratives within their niche. A (real) KOL educates, informs, and leads. They help people understand new ideas, shift perspectives, and shape trends. For brands, they drive mindshare, and in marketing, mindshare = market share. The louder your voice in the market relative to your competitors, the bigger your share of the market. Having a strong voice for your brand is therefore (obviously) critical. Because if nobody is talking about your brand, your brand is pretty much non-existent in the marketplace. Big voices make more noise, small voices make up numbers. Both of them are essential in Web3. So, Blub and KOLs Blub, however, already dominates mindshare. It's an interesting position to be in as it doesn't quite need to play into the hands of KOLs .... seeking validation and help to drive awareness pre TGE. This is a great position for Blub and because of this, Blub will have less 'KOLs' compared to @Wink_Realm that are involved in its pre-sale. Wink walked, so Blub could run 🤝 So what KOLs are making the cut? Proven names from KET and WINK. The ones who showed up, supported pre and post TGE and still remain to this day championing the communities they are part of. They’ve earned their spot at the table. Think KOLs like @Flowslikeosmo @MinisterOfNFTs @NFTsAreNice @nftboi_ (i recommend to follow them). Part of Blubs traction also means there are some new KOLs in the mix, that were previously not involved in Avalanche. This is a great benefit for the ecosystem as new faces and voices are joining it. Blub is onboarding. But this is a carefully curated process, only bringing in perceived strong supporters with smaller allocations. They can build their reputation, starting with Blub. Of course, some will jeet. And because of their influence, they’ll be shamed the hardest (as they should be). Remember. The shame board is eternal. So if you get a seat at the Blub table, just know everyone’s watching if you decide to leave before dessert. __________ TLDR: My main message is this. Don't brand all KOLs the same, there are many great ones and they are very useful. Equally, if you're an Avalanche OG, be welcoming to newcomers but go hell for leather at them if they jeet quickly (make them RegretFi). Lastly, Blub has taken careful consideration with who joins him on the table but he can at any moment, rescind invitations. Play nice, or rest in piss.

Today is my final day at @LFJ_gg. What a ride. Picture this... It’s lockdown during covid, i’m full-time WFH (but my job only keeps me busy for a couple hours a day). I look into crypto to speculate, but find DeFi spinning up, i'm hooked. I decide to try and find a side hustle. I end up contributing through use of leveraging social analytics to help nurture more effective content strategies on X (most teams were ramshackle collections of devs and visionaries, devoid of all marketers). I contribute to a small number of protocols, including a DEX on Avalanche. In my brief moment of sharing insights into a public channel of a discord server, I get a DM from 'Cryptofish', who introduces himself by rocking out a Kanye inspired PFP. He says, "Come do this for Trader Joe." Next thing I know, I'm in a new Discord server, greeted by the other cofounder, 'Murloc'. Weird anon personalities I'm thinking...I check the Discord. Then I check the website. And I think to myself—‘Is this a f***ing Joke? The site looks like a 5-year-old made it. The brand? Knock-off Minecraft. The community? ~10 people.’ Anyway, I accepted the job offer. Three and a half years later, I’ve helped grow LFJ into an industry-wide recognized brand in an industry at the crossroads of finance, tech, and crypto. Not gonna lie, it's been a tough ride but I've had an absolute belter of a time doing it. And so A giant thanks to @0xmurloc and @cryptofish for entrusting me with leading the brand and growth of LFJ and massive thanks and appreciation to my co-pilot @DavideFi_, together we moved through many obstacles for LFJ. Narratives come and go fast in Web3, but what's always been steadfast is the LFJ teams integrity (honestly more rare than you think), the desire to build new sh!t and the endearing motivation to serve users with a market leading swap experience. I know i will undoubtedly get asked many times “why are you leaving LFJ?” I’ve been at LFJ for a long time. I love this brand and this team, but it’s time for something new. Web3 is full of great projects and teams, but many brands have weak voices. I want to fix that. It’s an ideal time as well The LFJ team are well equipped and resourced, having recently expanded and scaled up the marketing team. The product roadmap is evolving the standard DEX experience with a new direction. The brand is better than ever. It’s the perfect time for me to rotate out. So, what’s next? A short break this month for long over due R&R. I’ll probably be doing something new by March, but if you want to shoot your shot my DMs are open. _____________ Anyway, feel free to AMA 👇
