For someone labeled a philosopher, André's Twitter feed reads more like rapid-fire startup diary entries—it's like if Confucius traded his robe for a hoodie and a keyboard, but still can’t resist dropping the occasional emotive ‘Feels good 🔥’ moment!

Launching LaunchFast on Product Hunt and placing it in the top 10 is André’s standout achievement, validating his hard work and earning him recognition as a credible maker in the creator economy.

André seeks to inspire and empower fellow creators and builders by sharing his entrepreneurial journey and deep tech knowledge, helping others launch and grow their own products with confidence.

He believes in transparent, honest communication and the power of community support to elevate small creators. André values continuous learning, experimentation, and the fusion of tech with thoughtful reflection to create meaningful impact.

His biggest strengths lie in authentic storytelling and the ability to demystify complex tech concepts in an approachable way, fostering strong engagement with a niche yet passionate audience.

André's frequent posting (over 3,400 tweets) can sometimes scatter focus, making it harder for new followers to quickly grasp his core messaging amidst the volume.

To grow his audience on X, André should leverage threaded storytelling to create cohesive narratives around his launches and lessons, and engage more with broader conversations to increase visibility beyond his immediate circle.

Fun fact: Despite being a self-described small creator, André's startup LaunchFast cracked the Product Hunt top 10—a major achievement in the maker community!

My beautiful builders, sharing to keep me accountable and share my learnings with you ♥️ Today was an interesting day. Here’s what got done: 1. Worked on the page customers see when their new app launches 2. Watched @nikunjness and @h4temsoliman use LaunchFast for the first time 3. Went to a Generative AI workshop Worked on the page customers see when their new app launches The CLI experience seems pretty robust and I’ve had great feedback on how good the first contact with LaunchFast is. However, the page users see when they run "npm run dev" for the first time, is underwhelming. So that’s what I worked on today. I still need to run some Jobs-to-be-done interviews to figure out exactly what this page should have, but at the moment I’m thinking: 1. Explanation of the deployment pipeline so customers understand what the initialization script did 2. Link to documentation (documentation is still to be done) 3. Some examples of code they could copy and paste onto the homepage itself with beautiful examples of landing pages Or just links to the upocoming documentation 🤷‍♂️ Watched Nikunj and Hatem use LaunchFast for the first time It’s great seeing people use my product for the first time. I learn new things every time! The good news is that the CLI experience doesn’t break and is very easy to understand. The bad news is that most people don't seem to read the instructions 😅 The reason why this happens is due to a characteristic of the console: when new text appears, it appears immediately, without the user perceiving new text showed up. So when you have prompt -> instructions -> prompt, what the user really sees is prompt -> prompt, because the users eyes didn't move from the blinking caret | Check out the image below 👇 More experience developers know this and make an effort to look up after every prompt. New developers don't (and I need to fix this). Went to a Generative AI workshop Since integrating AI into LaunchFast is on the roadmap and a friend of mine gave a workshop on Generative AI, I went to the workshop to see if I could learn something from it that could help my customers. Here’s what I’ve learned: 1. How to correctly prompt for better responses 2. How to use Custom GPTs to generate specific output that an API could consume These are learnings I’ll integrate into the LaunchFast documentation. Next Steps Tomorrow I have 3 more calls with developers to watch them use LaunchFast for the first time. If everything goes as smooth as today, I’ll start preparing my Product Hunt launch 🚀 That’s it for today my friends. I hope you had an amazing day and see you tomorrow 🫡

It's time to share my learnings and keep myself accountable ♥️ Here’s what got done today: 1. Learned how to use senja.io to obtain testimonials 2. Asked the devs I showed LaunchFast to, to leave a testimonial 3. Read the entire first100users.com and made a todo list based on it 4. Created the Product Hunt prelaunch page Learned how to use senja.io to obtain testimonials Before today I did not know about senja.io. They make it really easy to ask for feedback (just share a link) and to show those testimonials on your website (just inject a script and an HTML tag). Then, they give you this nice dashboard where you can approve, reject or delete testimonials. They also allow you to manually import testimonials from 34 different websites and social media networks, including 𝕏, Product Hunt, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and many more. Like when someone says something nice about your product or service on 𝕏, you can just copy that post’s URL and import it into your testimonial wall. The cards are also well designed. And it’s free. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t knew about this before. It’s a great product! Asked the devs I showed LaunchFast to, to leave a testimonial I’ve got 2 testimonials at the moment, but all devs said they would leave a review, so hopefully I’ll get around 8 🙏 After I do another improvement iteration on the product, I’ll continue to invite developers to try LaunchFast out. But this time I will look for developers building something right now, so they can test LaunchFast in a real-world scenario. Read the entire first100users.com and made a todo list based on it first100users.com has a little over 100 tips for getting your first 100 users. I’ve made a list with all of the tips and strategies they share and categorized them as content creation, cold outreach, and helping people out. - Content created I will either way, because I need to create the documentation for the product. - Cold outreach I might do after the product launches on Product Hunt. - Helping people out I try to do every single day. Just because I like it. Created the Product Hunt prelaunch page 🎉 I’ve read 3 articles on how to successfully launch a product on Product Hunt. The best article is the one from Product Hunt themselves. But to be frank, there’s not much to it, it’s just common sense: 1. Create a pre-launch page with good copy, images, and genuine first comment 2. Don’t buy upvotes 3. Promote your pre-launch page. People can hit the “notify me” button to upvote you when you launch 4. Be nice to people, engage in conversations and be helpful I’d love to show you my pre-launch teaser page, but unfortunately it’s still awaiting moderation from the Product Hunt team. Today’s wins - Today I’ve learned you can quickly make a GIF using screenshots and ezgif.com. I made one to show how LaunchFast works for Product Hunt’s teaser page 🔥 - Today Elon Musk liked one of my posts ♥️ Can you tell I'm a fan? 😄 Today’s experiment Ok, so I wanted to be notified whenever a big tech account would post something so I could reply quickly and get seen by my peers. If I enabled notifications for everyone, I’d be notified every 3 seconds, making it impossible to work productively. This meant disabling notifications for a lot of people I care about on 𝕏. I can still find them all in “Following”, but it forces me to scroll and actively search for them. Not receiving those notifications makes it considerably harder to know what my friends are doing. That’s why yesterday and today I did not engage as much as I used to. I think I’ll reenable notifications for all my friends, but, because there’s so many notifications, I’ll work in sprints of be social → focused execution → be social → focused execution. I can do this by enabling Focus Mode on macOS. Next steps 1. Keep looking for devs and testimonials 2. Keep helping people on 𝕏 3. Start registering LaunchFast on a list of 400+ websites 4. Promote the Product Hunt teaser page 5. Create a support group for the launch That’s it for today folks. Profit day is coming 🙌😄💰

Sharing my progress with you lovely people to keep me accountable and share my learnings ♥️ I’ve spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (today) working on a great CLI experience for LaunchFast, but I haven’t shown it to devs yet. That’s the next step. This week’s goals to move LaunchFast forward: 1. Find devs that would like to take LaunchFast for a ride 2. Keep improving the landing page 3. Start preparing the Product Hunt launch Find devs that would like to take LaunchFast for a ride I’m confident senior devs will understand the CLI prompts, because they are used to the lingo, but I’m not so sure about junior devs or people who don’t know how to code. Since all the developers that bought ShipFast didn’t have any previous web dev experience, I assume a non-negligeable portion of my clients will be absolute beginners, so it’s important I make the CLI accessible to them too. So now’s the time to find junior and senior devs to test-drive my product. If you’re one of them, feel free to DM me: I’d like to have a Zoom call where I can see you use LaunchFast and note friction points. You get to keep a copy of LaunchFast for your indie hacker endeavors 💪😄 Keep improving the landing page I have feedback from @zalkazemi and @ReviewLab_app to act upon ♥️ Start preparing the Product Hunt launch Preparing a PH launch is a lot of work. Here's the plan: 1. Create a list of ~500 websites I can publish LaunchFast on 2. Create a teaser page on Product Hunt and improve it as much as I can 3. Create a support group for people interested in supporting my launch 4. Optionally find a Product Hunt “hunter” (someone with a huge audience who publishes my product for me) 5. Prepare strategy and assets for launch day Alright, time to look for devs 🔍

Hey folks! Keeping myself accountable by sharing my progress today 💪 Today I've finished making improvements to my landing page according to the feedback I've received. Here's what got done: - Improved color contrast ✅ - Added tech logos for a more colorful page ✅ - Added use-case section to make it clear for whom my product is ✅ - Improved the copy a little bit ✅ - Added Fathom Analytics (I’d use Google Analytics, but I already paid for a year of Fathom, so I’m sticking to it until the subscription ends) ✅ - And lastly, fixed an annoying ESLint bug ✅ The next steps are: - Improve the landing page according to the feedback I’ve received ✅ - Improve the product according to an interview I’ve done - Iterate on the landing page and product until I consistently get 10/10 reviews - Capture reviews and testimonials for the landing page - Create a support group to help me launch on ProductHunt - Launch on ProductHunt to reach a global audience Color Contrast As it turns out, there doesn’t seem to be any good solutions for color contrast checkers for developers. I did not find a tool that I could integrate with my current testing pipeline (I’m using Playwright) and give me an easy to use output. The only tool I’ve found was Axe, but its output is horrendous! Axe gives me an entire JSON array I have to scan through in order to figure out which rules were broken and where. What I would love to have is the excellent UI/UX experience that the WCAG Color Contrast Checker Chrome extension gives me. Check the images out! You get a nice list, showing you which rules failed and if you click a failed rule, it will highlight the components on the page that failed that test. Excellent! And it also gives you a color picker if you want to manually check for contrast yourself. The only thing this extension fails to do is correctly assessing color contrast on text that has a gradient background effect when using ‘bg-gradient-to-b from-muted-500 to-muted-900 bg-clip-text text-transparent’. The TailwindCSS class the extension has trouble with (or more accurately, the CSS rule) is the ‘text-transparent’ one. Marketing I’ve also decided to completely stop promoting my product and actively look for people to help on 𝕏. I’ll share the results next week. x.com/andrecasaldev/…

Building a "LaunchFast vs Alternatives" section, as per @zalkazemi's recommendation. LaunchFast.pro is a tool for web developers to build apps as quickly and effortlessly as possible. Please roast my section 🔥 What do you think @joshua_zky?

I'm building a new logo for LaunchFast.Pro with the help of @zalkazemi 🔥 Is this an improvement or a regression? 👇
