I'm always suspicious of accounts that post 20 times a day, each post getting thousands of views, tons of reposts, and hundreds of likes and comments. All with less than 2,000 followers. I wouldn't dare tell anyone how to run their own account, but something smells ... off.

There seem to be a resurgence of what are called 'follow churners' on X. This is one of my favorite pet peeves. I went down my 'following' list today an unfollowed 18 churners that I was tracking, as well as AT LEAST 50 others, that weren't in my spreadsheet. So to be clear, if I follow you, I will *NOT* unfollow you unless: 1⃣ you unfollow me first; 2⃣ you turn out to be a scammer or grifter; 3⃣ you completely change your account to something I find offensive (use your imagination); 4⃣ your account is completely inactive for 6 months or more Also, it's worth nothing that I react negatively to demands of follow-backs. If you interact with my content, and you're a real person, not a spammer, who replies to the comments on their own posts, then have no fear, the follow-back is coming.
