Yusiโ€™s like that friend who canโ€™t just have coffeeโ€”they have to organize the whole cafe, invite everyone in the neighborhood, and pitch a collaboration deal by the end of it. Itโ€™s less chill, more skillful hustle!

Crafted a viral strategy and community approach that flips the typical web3 job hunting on its head, achieving massive engagement with thousands of replies and a reputation for getting โ€˜projects chasing talentโ€™ instead of the other way around.

To create an interconnected web3 ecosystem where talents and projects find each other effortlessly, fostering growth, opportunity, and value creation for all participants.

Yusi believes in the power of community and mutual benefitโ€”success is achieved not solo but through collaboration and by bringing real value to others. They trust that the web3 space moves fast and values proof of work more than traditional credentials, emphasizing action over words.

Exceptional network-building skills with a deep understanding of types of web3 roles and dynamics, combined with a high engagement approach that creates meaningful connections and opportunities.

Sometimes their high drive for connection and promotion might overwhelm followers or come off as too sales-forward, potentially alienating more passive audiences.

To amplify growth on X, Yusi should focus on creating more bite-sized value nuggets and quick wins that followers can immediately share, paired with spotlighting success stories of connections made to build social proof. Consider also leveraging multimedia like short videos or spaces to humanize and diversify content beyond rapid-fire tweet threads.

Fun fact: Yusi coined and champions the โ€œValue-First Pitchโ€ formula that transformed how job seekers in web3 get hired faster by leading with immediate value rather than resumes or generic requests.

If you want to get any job in Web3, read this ๐ŸŽฏ I have been getting an influx of DMs on how to get jobs and if I have not responded to yours my apologies ๐Ÿฅน This is my response to everyone that has DM'ed me ๐Ÿ‘‡ Make sure you bookmark this tweet for later and if you have community please retweet it so that they donโ€™t miss this opportunity First of all, you need to understand that the era of sending just DMs on Telegram has passed. In 2020/2021 you could easily send DMs to random founders and get jobs easily but that's not the case anymore. Practical steps you should take to get jobs no matter your skill provided you are good at that skill: 1. Create a personal brand on any social media of your choice that your target audience is using. ~ I am building my brand on Twitter Your target audience as a job seeker should be: Founders, CMOs, COOs, CTOs(esp for technical roles), HR, and other core team members. 2. Start creating and sharing valuable content around your niche. 3. Build connections with other people in your niche and also people that can be of help to you in terms of giving you job opportunities. Try to build connections with your target audience. If you follow them on Twitter, turn on notifications and try to engage with their content every time. From there, you can take the conversation to DM after 2 - 10 days. Try to attend offline/online events as well and connect with the speakers and panelists. If you see an HR personnel that works in Web3, try to connect with these people as well and tell them what you do. 4. Volunteer and offer your skill for free. This will help you get first-hand experience especially if you have no prior experience. Sometimes, you might end up landing a gig if you work very well as a volunteer. While volunteering, try to get close to the founder of the project or the decision-makers of the project. Make them love you. Search for projects using platforms like @CoinMarketCap, @DefiLlama, etc. Reach out to these projects to volunteer. Create a CV and have it handy just in case. 5. Start sending out cold DMs to at least 40 projects and more in a week. You can use email, telegram, Twitter, discord, and LinkedIn. Create targeted proposals for each project and your proposal should contain: ~ The problem you have seen in the project ~ The value and solution you can bring to the project. ~ A link to your socials where you are building or building a personal brand. ~ A CTA Try to send your proposals to the decision makers of the project and not any random person working on the project. If you are using Twitter to send cold DMs, try not to send your proposals to the official account of the project. Search for the decision makers of that project on Twitter. Connect with them as I explained in step 3 and send your proposal to them. If you are using Telegram/Discord, try to engage with the community and share ideas for some time. Anytime one of the decision makers of the project says something in the community, try to respond to their messages even if they are not talking to you. The goal is for them to see your name and pic so that when you finally send them a cold DM, they won't be wondering who you are. You can try out job boards like @rethinkablejobs @CryptoJobs e.t.c. But the probability of getting jobs there is always slim. 6. Create a database of projects/people you have sent cold DMs to and follow up after a day or two if they don't respond. Don't spam their DMs. If they read and don't respond after you follow up, it's possible they are not interested so move on to another project. 7. Don't stop doing step 1 no matter how many jobs you start getting. 8. Be consistent in all these steps and don't forget to pray while at it. I hope this was helpful ๐ŸŽฏ I will be hosting a Twitter space with my friends soon about job seeking and we will be discussing and sharing more tips. Live with purpose ๐Ÿคพ
