Viraj moves so fast between startups and investments that if startup founder meetings were a Formula 1 race, he'd be the guy changing tires while still steering the car—talk about multitasking to the max, or just avoiding actually driving!

His biggest win is rallying substantial pre-seed investments within weeks of launching a new incorporation concept, effectively pioneering a fresh wave of trust and funding in European startups.

Viraj's life purpose lies in empowering startups and investors by creating reliable, innovative frameworks that streamline funding and accelerate entrepreneurial success in Europe and beyond.

He believes in the power of standardization to elevate quality, transparency, and trust within the innovation ecosystem. He values pragmatic problem-solving and the importance of fostering strong professional networks to fuel progress.

Viraj excels at spotting promising investment opportunities early, building influential connections, and communicating complex industry developments clearly and engagingly.

His rapid pace and broad focus might sometimes lead to spreading attention too thin or missing hyper-detail on individual projects, which requires balancing big-picture vision with execution.

To grow his audience on X, Viraj should leverage his expert insights into European startup ecosystems with regular, accessible thread explainers and engage more actively with followers through Q&A sessions or polls to build a strong community around his ventures.

Fun fact: Viraj isn't just hopping on trends—he's actively reshaping European startup investment standards by advocating for scalable, trusted incorporation practices that attract serious funding.

"If I've been here for like less than four weeks and I've got people willing to put $50-200k into a company, it just doesn't make sense to stay UK-incorporated." @nusmark_dhruv , saw @andreasklinger was coming on the show later and wanted to give his 2 cents on @euinc_petition "It's not just EU–INC getting created as a thing. It's also EU–INC getting created as a thing and then Americans are starting to trust that that's like a reliable incorporation to invest in." In short, he'll believe it's a step change in investing in Europe when the first cheque gets done under its banner.

Read a report pre-show that their was a leak, 3 hours later I had @andreasklinger, @euinc_petition @prototype_cap on stream to explain it to me. "The problem is the whole idea behind the 28th regime... our solution is you want to have a standard for startups in Europe so that any angel who has ever invested in any company in Europe can invest in any other." "The moment you say that there's a standard, you can use this standard to elevate the actual quality of life in Europe." This should have been solved years ago.

Meet THOR, @voltrac_eu 's next-generation automated electric tractor, built for hard work & harsher conditions. @andreasklinger, @prototype_cap wrote an early cheque in Tom Hubregtsen & Fran Infante Aguirre. "It can self-drive and there's a level that they have but it's good enough. You use this on a farm." "We're not talking self-driving like Formula 1 speed in a pedestrian zone. We are talking drive a tractor slowly over field in a straight line. That is done, that's a solved problem."

WhatsApp changed its business API policy last week. @nusmark_dhruv, @nusmark_app explains how they pivot in light of this news. "We have a very low latency, multi tool orchestrator, which we've been building specifically because the key to this market was always going to be WhatsApp." "We could pivot to the apps. We were actually going to expand to messenger & instagram . We had three types on each."

Why has outsourcing manufacturing has eroded Western technological competence, was the question for @andreasklinger, @prototype_cap / @euinc_petition "There's an fundamental flaw to think of technology as a cost center. The moment these machines become very complicated, you cannot really have design competence without having actually building competence." "By actually outsourcing a lot of these things, we didn't just save costs, we got rid of the actual know-how. And sooner or later, all the design is based on the know-how out of the actual production." "We are getting rid of core competence. And in my opinion, we still have enough of the core competence to make a real good claim that we need to take it serious." If you think objectively on this when we outsourced factories we: • Lost decades of institutional knowledge • Dismantled entire industrial ecosystems • Surrendered the talent pipeline • Abandoned the infrastructure for innovation @andreasklinger its time to go full tilt dynamism.

I'm enamoured by the @byFounders team (and portcos) As Deina Kellezi puts it "I think it's rare that you come across a team of people where it's very clear what every person offers - like what is their unique thing that makes them them." At byFounders each investor has a distinct superpower that's immediately recognisable: Magnus Hambleton (@magnushambleton): Visionary thinking that spans industries. He sees around corners that others don't even know exist. Ugne Musneckyte: Technical depth that's unmatched. She'll literally sit beside developers for 6+ hours during hackathons, understanding how they think and build. (@SaraRywe): The most powerful network I've ever witnessed. One founder told Deina: "I never take meetings with less than 2 weeks notice. For Sara, I dropped everything and jumped on a call within an hour." Martin Krag (@martinkrag): Exceptional talent-spotting abilities. He has a sixth sense for identifying raw founder potential before others see it.

Slush tulee olemaan aivan järjetön. Correct my Finnish if I've butchered the phrase It's SLUSH (@SlushHQ) week @ainobergius & the team will be putting on a masterclass Marko (@voutilainen_xyz) fmr Slusher joined the steam on the 4/11 to explain the impact that the event has on the team. "Every slusher experiences... you've been working your ass off for the entire year. You put your blood, sweat, and tears into this thing and you've given it every single attention to detail." "I remember looking back at that room, there was not a single person who was not crying in that room 'cause there was like so much of like built up emotion to building that event." "I had to improvise that last sort of like 20, 30 minutes of the entire Slush sort of finalising chapter for 2023... as a founder, shxt's going to happen. And it's going to be very surprising when it happens." I wont be making it out there for the Trillions of AUM, Saunas and coffee but I'll be getting a vibe check.

"I was skeptical, right? Because it felt like it was something that ought to have been done before... if it's too obvious, normally it's a bad idea." @unbundledvc on writing an early cheque in @runna "I was just blown away in the meeting, right? I'd actually been pitched by another running app the day before... I met Runna the next day and I was like, 'These guys are amazing.'" "I literally went out and bought running shoes like that evening, never having run for like 25 years or something insane."

The gen pop narrative around @Lovable was that the market was restricted to consumers who was to vibecode an app or website. @joshgoldman, COO at @veedstudio proves this WRONG. "I have absolutely no idea how to code. I've made now 3/4 different things myself. The first of which was like a headcount planning tool." "I can probably build this in 2/3 hours now that I have Lovable. And then like three or four similar tools as well that I've done myself." "Going from not being able to do anything to building these like fully fledged platforms with backends, with authentication, using APIs. It feels crazy. If you had told me that I'd be able to do this 2y ago, I would not believe you."

Zoe Qin, @dawncapital on MOATS At dinner before the AIEngine hack was in deep conversation with Isabella, @VisionariesVC & Matěj, @CredoVentures on their mental model on moats - had to have the hard conversation with how Zoe sees it. "For us we are investing in business software in general. So by stating that what I mean is we're looking for companies to kind of grow revenue rather than have deep technical moat." "We want them to actually sell this as either services or product and grow the company this way." "From that perspective, I would say the ultimate moat is distribution... distribution just means you have the mind share as well as the revenue share within your customer base."

Javier, @SofinnovaVC on how AI is reshaping global healthcare innovation and adoption patterns. "The US has historically been the largest consumer of healthcare from a dollar perspective. That still is the case in many ways today." "The big difference with this new AI world is that we tell our LPs, this is happening everywhere and all at once. It took three years for 90% of @OpenAI 's chatgpt users to come from outside the US, versus I think it took 23 years for that to happen on the internet." It overcomes the barriers that historically prevented European healthcare from scaling: 1. Multilingual capabilities out of the box 2. Cross-cultural applicability 3. System-level adaptability "We are starting to see very fast-growing European for Europe health tech companies that are just managing the scale very quickly." There is a realargument that without embracing this innovation, we won't deflate healthcare costs for future generations.
