Kevin’s so busy following back everyone in the public building community that if he followed one more person, his notifications might just spark an electrical fire—hey, at least he'd finally have a use for those Tesla chargers he’s researching!

Kevin’s biggest win is going viral with a tweet that sparked hundreds of replies and connections, proving that his authentic, community-driven approach truly resonates—and turning strangers into an engaged network ready to grow together.

Kevin’s life purpose revolves around fostering genuine communities through shared passions—whether it’s coding, music, or innovation—empowering others by building together in public and nurturing meaningful connections along the way.

He values transparency, collaboration, and continuous growth, believing that progress is best made through consistent small steps and authentic interactions that inspire others to join the journey.

Kevin’s biggest strength is his ability to connect deeply at scale by actively engaging with his audience through thoughtful replies and by building a welcoming community around diverse interests like coding, AI, and music.

Sometimes, his eagerness to respond and follow back everyone in his niche might overwhelm him, risking dilution of focus and potential burnout from spreading himself too thin across many conversations.

To grow his audience on X, Kevin should amplify storytelling by sharing more behind-the-scenes moments from his DJ career and coding milestones, leverage threaded tweets to walk followers through his learning process, and incorporate short video clips for richer engagement.

Fun fact: Despite his deep academic background in chemistry, Kevin not only made it to the DJ finals at Tomorrowland, but he also codes every day and openly invites conversations about SaaS, AI, and marketing, making his profile a lively blend of science, music, and tech.

I took @marc_louvion's codefa.st course. Can I code better? No,but learned many other things! Here is my full review: - The course starts with a clear explanation of how the internet works, covering servers, APIs, and routing. Crucial parts to understand for later SaaS applications. Furthermore, it ties to later tasks like backend setup, making the course easier to understand for newbies such as myself. - I would say that the course is ideal for SaaS beginners, who have already some sort of knowledge of coding. I learned python and had no idea of JavaScript, but it helped me to spot similarities and grasp concepts. Nevertheless, the course starts at zero with detailed, step-by-step guidance, so code experience is not a must have, but a nice to have. - The course is well layed out with hands on example code to code along with. Marc has also a free blog, which he refers to sometime, so you can expand on concepts. Additionally, he updates the course and adds new material (lately SEO), which comes at no extra cost. - At later stages, he also introduces the concept of AI and to leverage it for building your SaaS. AI allows you to build your SaaS much quicker, which is I think the core message of the course. Build the MVP (minimum viable product) as quick as possible and then ship it. Furthermore, AI fills in your missing knowledge, so you do not need to master every detail. - He also links to tools like payment gateways and hosting below videos, showing you services/tools or general knowledge such as HTTP protocls, which are very nice to know. Some negative points or potential improvements: - You split the course for people who use Stripe or LemonSqueezy, which is actually cool. However, the example code is only for Stripe. Add it also for the LemonSqueezy people, since I had issues, I wanted to check quickly if I had an error or not, but that was not possible. Either go full for both or not. - My computer is set to dark mode, and straight at the beginning, when you setup everything like described, it auto adapts and my setup looked different, causing confusion. A quick note would help. - I had a lot of issues, which I resolved just at the end of the course: Next.js 14.2.0 broke my app testing due to a layout.js error, unable to read fonts because of path issues on my computer. I also tried the Discord for support, but that was pretty much dead. Also, Discord is not used intensively, people do not introduce themself (which is a pity, would be nice to find similar minded people). - The play button blocks text when pausing videos, which is a bit annoying if you try to take notes or copy the code, maybe remove it (some videos do not have this for some reason). - When he codes with AI (e.g. ButtonVote) then you should add the code below the video to copy paste it, or clarify it is optional at the beginning of the video or add a note. - I think it would be beneficial for newbies, if some components are bit better explained. Like what are components, modules, and so on. You get the drill of it at the end of the course, but it would help, when explained earlier. - Minor mistake: "Going to production" states a duration of 9:28 but it only takes 7:41 😀 - Aaaand: drop that confetti code! Where is it? You wanted to share it at the end of the course? 😜 Overall, I would highly recommend to take the course, when you are interest in building your own SaaS. If you want to join the SaaS journey, there is a link in my next post!
