🆘 THE TRUTH ABOUT GLOBAL TRADE THAT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT! Here’s what more people need to understand: There are thousands of American companies, big and small that manufacture products globally. They have real employees. They pay taxes. They have insurance. They provide health insurance. They provide retirement plans. They create millions of jobs that strengthen our economy. These companies aren’t the problem. They’re playing by the rules and making America better. The real issue began about 10 years ago, when the internet made it easy for overseas factories from China to start selling directly to U.S. consumers. They ship products straight into Amazon warehouses or third-party logistics centers, then sell through platforms like Amazon, HomeDepot, Walmart, Wayfair, TikTok, Wish, Shein, and more. They don’t pay taxes. They don’t carry insurance. They don’t employ ANYONE here. And when there’s a product issue or lawsuit? They disappear, only to reappear under a new name. Meanwhile, U.S.-based companies are held to the highest standards. We’re not talking about this enough. And we should be. Because it’s putting American businesses and American jobs at a huge disadvantage. THIS is the real issue we need to solve. I just heard someone describe these tariffs as: ‘This administration’s way of extorting small businesses and enacting the largest tax increase this country has ever seen.’ It’s hard to disagree. I am experiencing it first hand. I can't believe the America I love is crushing the backbone of what makes us great. This must be what running a business in a communist country feels like. The government takes what they want with zero oversight.

12 months ago, I was finally diagnosed with ADHD. (Anyone who knows me personally is not surprised by this!) So much about my childhood, early adult life and everything I remember now makes sense. There’s always been something about the way my brain works that made me feel different. I don’t have anything that sends warning signals to my brain like most people do. This means I don’t really have much fear, stress, anger, or anything to stop myself from doing something crazy. I can have a great conversation with someone and 10 minutes later forget everything. I had zero ability to focus and be in the moment. This annoyed those close to me because they never felt like I was truly listening. (I am listening, I’m just processing your words before you even say them) I also have this weird ability to sense some things before they happen. (conversation for another time) Over time, I figured out how to take what makes me different and turn it into a strength. I call it my superpower!  I’ve been reckless, spontaneous, and calculated at times, and somehow, it’s worked out great.  It has helped me build a successful business and an amazing team of people who support me and my vision. It is crazy how much has changed in the last 12 months. I feel like I’ve accomplished more this past year than I did in the last 10 combined. With this new focus and some other big changes at American Fireglass, we are headed in a direction I couldn’t even imagine before. I’m beyond excited about 2025 and all the things we’re working on. I can’t wait to share them with you! If you’ve ever felt like your mind works differently, just know that once you understand it, you can use it to your advantage. Anyone in Southern California have a referral to a packaging company? We use hundreds of thousands of boxes and bags annually and I want to shop that biz.

Can anyone tell me why homes are not built with steel stud framing? I don't understand why commercial buildings are done this way and not homes. Is wood way cheaper? Is it a profit issue from builders? Home prices today are crazy. Shouldn't they be built to withstand the elements?

Most (if not all) Chinese sellers on Amazon have ZERO PRODUCT LIABILITY and insurance. They sell dangerous counterfeit goods and the second someone gets hurt, sick or killed. They close up and re open under another name. With ZERO legal consequences.

Anybody make a protein powder for men? One that tastes like bbq ribs or brisket. Because, that's what we really want. Not this candy/dessert flavored shit.

Been thinking about this. If Tariffs are a way to keep manufacturing jobs in America. What can be done to keep "office/tech" jobs in America? American companies now outsource "office" jobs more than manufacturing. This seems like a bigger issue to me. It's a topic no one is willing to bring up.

My company has sold our American made Products to Amazon for over 13 years. (Amazon buys from us, stocks and sells our products.) They recently discontinued purchasing from us. It feels like Amazon is favoring Chinese companies. Have any other American brands been cut off 1st party recently?
