My hate for iOS still remains. Here are some of the features that I still find missing on iOS. Add yours below. 1. no partial screen recording 2. no guest mode/second user 3. no back gesture 4. camera settings are not in the camera app 5. app-specific volume control missing 6. can’t customize which notifications i want from an app 7. no real game mode 8. can’t hide files and folders 9. no floating windows 10. no maintenance/repair mode 11. no status bar customization 12. no option to clear cache of apps 13. no direct restart option 14. no enlarged folders 15. no custom fonts 16. no separate ring and notification volumes 17. can’t clone apps (dual apps) 18. no auto brightness toggle in the control center 19. no third-party launchers 20. can’t pin apps in the ram 21. cursed notifications 22. no split screen 23. no clipboard 24. can’t specifically deny mobile data/wifi access to specific apps (only internet access) 25. no sidebar 26. no sideloading (similar to APKs) 27. can’t resize the home screen layout

Let’s talk about how awful the iPhone keyboard is ❌ Shitty autocorrect ❌ No backspace to undo autocorrect ❌ Doesn’t even have a comma on the main page ❌ No press and hold keys for alternate characters like: ()=[]₹#&_@%+':"*!;? ❌ No tap to edit between text (ik the space bar exists but i wanna tap; it’s faster) ❌ No clipboard history ❌ No number row ❌ No quick delete (on Android Gboard you can swipe on the backspace to quickly select and delete text) ❌ Every character is hidden behind 123 ❌ Not resizable ❌ No built-in tools like translate ❌ No GIF support ❌ Can’t select words and tap the Shift key to change cases (HI, Hi, hi) And the worst part is that the third-party keyboards are also just as bad. Typing on the iPhone is a very inefficient and unproductive.

MKBHD awards are very disappointing this year. This time, I disagree with almost every single award. The worst of them all: the iPhone gets the best camera award? Seriously? And then the best foldable is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold? Huh? It has the worst cameras in a flagship foldable, and don’t even get me started on the performance and the price.
