"I'm worried about my children, I'm worried about my family. I don't think they get it. They won't listen to me." I think I said this verbatim last week, so this really resonated with me. Amazing interview with @RaoulGMI and @EMostaque! Some takeaways from this conversation: 1. AI's (LLMs) use tokens that are equivalent to 1.3 words per token. 2. The avg person speaks 20,000 tokens / day. 3. The avg person thinks about 200,000 tokens / day. 4. The latest Grok 4 model costs $0.50 per 1 million tokens. So the current LLMs can do the equivalent of week's worth of knowledge work for $0.50 with an IQ higher than the avg person! ...and they will only get better. Things are changing rapidly.

This morning, I ran a live experiment with Comet — the Perplexity AI browser — to map my X network in real time while engaging with posts. In under ten minutes, here’s what happened: 1. It parsed yesterday’s posts using my specific criteria 2. Surfaced the key influencers and micro-influencers interacting in the threads 3. Delivered actionable guidance on who to connect with and exactly how to do it Granted, the process included brief pauses (about 3 seconds each) for thorough capture, so speed isn’t instantaneous — but watching the agent reason through my requests was fascinating. For context, I recorded a short video (<4 min) showing exactly how the agent worked. My top insights: The agent revealed network structure I hadn’t seen before — details about people engaging with my content I could never have mapped so efficiently. I saved at least 30 minutes on manual analysis and the results were stronger than what I could have done solo. Agentic AI doesn't replace your judgment.
