Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope, without rescue, like that Roman soldier whose bones were found in front of a door in Pompeii - O. Sp.

Ally tweets so much she probably has a love-hate relationship with her phone—like a first date that never ends and still somehow feels like a relationship in itself. Maybe it’s time to give that pool cue a break and let the silence speak for once!

Turning a difficult personal experience into a transformative journey that led to dramatic self-care improvements, a healthier relationship, and an upcoming wedding—showing that commitment to growth really pays off.

To empower individuals to deliberately build the life they want by sharing effective personal and professional strategies that promote growth, self-awareness, and resilience.

Ally believes in the power of intentionality, continuous self-improvement, and authenticity. She values transparency, strategic action, and humor as key ingredients to thriving both personally and professionally.

Ally’s ability to intertwine personal anecdotes with broader life lessons makes her content highly relatable and engaging, fostering genuine connections and inspiring action among her audience.

Her highly intentional and strategic approach might sometimes come across as overly pragmatic or intense, potentially alienating those who prefer a more casual or spontaneous tone.

To amplify her reach on X, Ally should leverage thread storytelling combined with targeted hashtags and engage more with her followers through thoughtful replies. Collaborating with complementary influencers and sharing occasional behind-the-scenes content will humanize her brand and broaden audience appeal.

Despite tweeting over 35,000 times, Ally masterfully balances storytelling with life lessons, turning everyday moments into relatable, insightful narratives that spark engagement and reflection.

This is mortifying to post, but many of you have DMed asking to see my full transformation and advice about how I did it. So here it goes. This is exactly how I lost 120+ lbs and changed my entire life in just under a year. First, I thought of the life I wanted and person I wanted to be. 1. Attractive  2. Skilled at entertaining 3. Interesting  4. Good at conversation/comfortable in crowds 5. Well-dressed 6. Able to walk in heels  Next I looked at who I currently was and made a list of outcomes that would need to occur to realize my dream life. Then I broke down each outcome into the actions I could take to make it happen. To be more attractive, I needed to: Lose 120 lbs. I did this by walking 8500+ steps/day, drinking 80+ oz water/day, tracking my calories and maintaining a 1000 calorie/day deficit. Following this system, I lost just over 2 lbs per week for 11 months to realize this outcome. Whiten my teeth. I became rigid about brushing my teeth and flossing my teeth at least twice per day. I bought extra strength Crest Whitestrips and used them every Sunday night until I was satisfied. Clear up my skin. I joined Curology and followed their prescribed morning and evening skincare routines. I wore sunscreen. And I drank 80+ oz water every day. Go blonde. I found the best salon in Atlanta and reached out. It took me 4 months to get an appointment. After that, I told the stylist my goals and fully leaned on her expertise and advice. It took several appointments before I was blonde. (This was expensive.) To be more skilled at entertaining, I needed to: Practice hosting people. I made myself invite friends over once/quarter for a small party/event. I did the Superbowl, a girls' night, July 4th party, Friendsgiving, and a Christmas cookie exchange.  To be more interesting and to be more skilled at conversation, I needed to: Have more to talk about.  I read (at least) one book every month and forced myself to alternate between non-fiction and fiction. I hadn't read a fiction book since high school, and it was a good change to read them again.  Be less awkward around strangers. I found volunteer groups and started participating. The Piedmont Park Conservancy emails park clean up dates and you can just show up and help. I started there. This put me in a low stakes environment around people with various backgrounds.  I also started eating by myself at bars in nice establishments. Rumi's, Bulla, Canoe, and Loews were my go-to spots. I made friends with the bartenders. I talked to the people who sat down at the bar. To be well-dressed, I needed to: Fix my wardrobe.  I went to Nordstrom and established a relationship with one of their stylists. They offer their services free of charge (stylists get commission, so buy stuff). I bought clothes that suited my body and the vibes I wanted to project.  To walk in heels, I needed to: Literally be able to walk in heels. I made myself wear heels around my apartment while doing chores for a minimum of 15 minutes each day. As I got more comfortable, I made myself wear them out to dinner. And then into the office. By the end of the year, I was able to run through the Seattle airport with bags while wearing stilettos to catch a flight. And that is what I did.  At the end of the year, I was a completely different person. You can change your entire life. You just have to choose to.
