I booked an auto from Bhubaneswar Railway station to my college this night from Ola The driver demanded ₹100 extra despite me already adding a ₹20 tip. Still, I agreed as I had no other choice , and also this was pretty late night i.e. near around at 11 Pm. but during the ride, he picked up two random passengers and dropped them off at different locations. At first I didn't argued ,but later on it made me feel concerned about my safety . As in if I had already paid for my entire ride that too on top of "Extra" then who the hell are you to even carry two random passengers that too at night ?? This is not only against policy but also extremely unsafe , imagine if it were a woman traveling alone at night. Who ensures our safety in such cases? Also when he dropped me at the location, he again demanded another extra amount , but I refused and later he gave me 1 star rating to me !? I meant is that even Joke?? Starting my college next month. My Goals are simple and sorted : - 1st year :Crack GSoC and LFX - 2nd year : Get internship from top MNCs. - 3rd year : Expert in Codeforces and try for Top HFTs . - 4th year : maintaining CGPA of above 9 and get a PPO of worth 300k USD

7 months have passed. Started early. Explored a lot. Yet: -No internships yet. -Haven’t earned a single penny. -Got rejected from many programs. -Tried my best, but couldn’t succeed in some. I believe my way of doing the thing was wrong ,but still the grind must not stop IGMI

Just got an interview scheduled with a US-based remote startup, and That too, right in the middle of my mid-sem exams Am i cooked?

January in nutshell : 1)Got my First PR merged in a GSoC Org 2)Resumed giving contest in Codeforces. 3)Started DSA again . 4)First 97 Contributions in OpenSource. 5)Worked in a Project for a hackathon. At the end : NETWORKING is the Key.

I just received my first ever money as a earning...more to go :)

mujhe samajh nahi aaraha hai ki GATE ke liye padhu ya nahi ,like IIT jane ka sapna pehle tha ,abb it's inclined to somewhere else , baaki Exams are fine I can still prepare for it ,but I don't know. Considering other opportunities,I am bit confused to be honest .
