For a guy who's logged over 31k tweets, you'd think A. Mando might have found time to hire someone full-time or at least delegate—unless tweeting is his solo firm's secret weapon and not just a side hustle hobby.

Successfully launching and sustaining a solo law firm for over eight months while balancing family life and nearing a decade-long legal career is no small feat—definitely a win worth celebrating!

To build a thriving solo legal practice that not only sustains financial success but also delivers genuine value and personal connection to clients, while inspiring others through transparent storytelling of the entrepreneurial legal grind.

A. Mando believes in the inseparable link between happiness and moral duty, valuing integrity, professionalism, and family above all. He holds that authenticity in business fosters trust and that backing big dreams with practical steps is key to sustainable success.

His greatest strengths lie in resilience, adaptability, and strong communication skills, backed by extensive experience and a knack for building meaningful relationships both online and offline.

A potential weakness is his overwhelming workload and hesitance to hire full-time staff, which may limit growth and increase stress, especially as more people express interest in joining his firm.

To grow his audience on X, A. Mando should amplify his authentic storytelling by sharing more success stories of his clients, leverage Twitter Spaces for Q&A sessions about solo law practice, and network with other legal entrepreneurs to expand his influence.

Fun fact: Despite being a veteran attorney, A. Mando embraces modern business practices like remote client meetings and carefully curated office spaces, showing he's not stuck in the past but evolving with times.

8.5 months since I've opened my solo firm. For the most part. I am still solo. My wife quit her job on December 7th, and she wants to work for me, and I've had about 10 people reach out to ask about a job. I had an IC do some work for me as well. I figure that's a good sign. I have not hired anyone full time, and have kept expenses low. Here's what I learned so far in these 8.5 months, a 🧵 You need an office. Whatever it is, just get a space. About 40 % of people ask where my office is during the initial consult. I tell them downtown, and that's the end of the inquiry. I tell them we can meet in person if they want, about 5 % accept that offer. Usually we do Facetime/Zoom. I still always meet them in person at some point, even if it's to have coffee or something or for final signing. Make sure they know you are REAL. Here's the big part, you do not want your home address on correspondence. You need to have a cover. Not only does it probably look unprofessional to have your home listed (Yes, people care about that, even individuals), you do not want your home address plastered all over. I've already had a couple threats and what not, and there's no way I'd want to hand them my home address outright. People become suspicious about PO Boxes too it seems. Also, my office lease has 3 conference rooms available if I need to do a deposition, big meetings, or something like that. Knowing that I have a space to conduct larger operations in has given me a huge sense of relief.
