i don’t think this was the culture i signed up for. community shitting on community outsiders shitting on community team is silent. honestly, no words can describe how chaotic the attention monad is receiving right now. i don’t understand how this is supposed to translate positively on mainnet.

i witnessed a lot of mixed emotions yesterday; people getting angry that their drop is small compared to others (within or outside the Monad eco). i chose to remain an observer - to look outward and within. you see, when faced with something that could potentially change your life regardless, it fuels so much emotion and passion in your words and thoughts that you forget to stop, breathe, and ask yourself, “Where are these feelings coming from?” i got around 70k tokens, that’s more money than I’ve received from any protocol to date, but my reaction didn’t reflect that reality. There was a sense of ungratefulness when I realized some of my friends got more. I had to check back with myself and ask why. … the answer was simple. i have chased financial independence for a long time (about 7 years now), waiting for my break. It’s worsened by the fact that I do not intend to practice what I studied in school (i realized that very early on). Now, I have one more year to make that happen in reality. So I’ve treated every opportunity that has been given as “All or None”. It’s made me blinded and ungrateful for the progress I’ve made in the last 7 years, constantly comparing what others have done in less. it’s always crazy when I say Monad was a side quest, and it’s absolutely crazy that in a moment and time like this, I can say, regardless of the outcome, it’s changed my life. … God has perfectly placed me in such a time to meet all the incredible people I know and have leaned on today; to be able to be recognized and receive value more than I actually thought I was worth. so regardless of what people get, stay grounded in some way, that this whole experience called “Monad” may have changed the trajectory of your life. don’t lose sight of that. Stay here, embrace it, be present, be grateful. don’t compare. this experience remains uniquely yours.

Great things are happening to people within the Monad ecosystem because they chose to build in public. Artists are being onboarded into NFT projects because they are building portfolios on CT. Community members are becoming pipeline interns because they bullpost about Monad in unique ways that gains attention for the ecosystem. Thought leaders are being brought in as community leads because their conversations on CT shape narratives and influence decisions. Developers are being onboarded into projects because they participate in missions and demonstrate the depth of their coding experience. No one will know what you have to offer, until you decide to build in public.

I wonder what the actual criteria are for landing a CMO or Head of Growth role in crypto these days. It seems more like KOLs with 20–50k+ followers, decent engagement, real influence, and the ability to draw an audience. Chat, do I cancel my Coursera subscription and just wait for Adah at 20k?

Usually when KOLs are overtly optimistic, I look for every reason to be pessimistic Examples: > The euphoria of BTC ATH > The infofi ponzi ie Yapyo > The AVAX memecoin trend When everyone is talking about it, it’s probably the tail end of the trend. Enter now, You’d most likely get burned.
